We had a great few days the hotel was in a superb location for us and we found the staff very accommodating and helpful. I was glad that I had paid more to get a canal view room. The room was very clean and for a three star hotel it was excellent. The breakfast was well worth the money. I appreciate that tea/coffee making facilities don't come as standard but it would have been better if that had been made clearer as I would have taken my own!

The hotel is well positioned in the heart of the city. The staff were well in control of customer needs. The hotel is clean but limited for customers. I would stay again. Good value for the price.

We booked a triple room and it was very spacious. There were 2 single beds side by side and a third bed on another wall. We had 3 large windows overlooking the canal. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Location is great, especially for shopping in the boutiques and vintange shops nearby. Close to Anne Frank House and Dam Square.

I absolutely loved the location! The quality of the hotel, itself, was just okay. However, I would definitely stay here again because of the location. The rooms could have been better, as well as the beds. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of many of Amsterdam's tourist attractions. Check in was slow and disorganized. Hallways were dirty and noisy.

The room was large for a 3*, The bed was very comfy and the shower was very powerful. The location is great. Checking in took 35 minutes, The reception staff are very slow. We paid on arrival and was asked to settle the bill again on check out. I witnessed the same thing happen to another guest, My only concern was the fact you can open the window in the bathroom and see other guests using there bathroom. Who could see me in mine??? Curtains would solve the problem.

Staff was very nice Sadly a perfect example of a hotel taking advantage of limited hotel availability during a conference. Overpriced low-end hotel. But typical for the situation. It's a shame.

The location was very central The hotel was a bit old and tired looking. The windows were not well sealed and as a result there was a very cold draught which made the room a cooler than it could have been. All through the night we could hear doors banging which kept us awake.

The Hotel is well situated on a beautiful canal (in case you get a room with a canal view), and it is very close to the city center and Dam square, yet it is on a very quiet street. Clean hotel with friendly staff. The internet service is free nowadays in all hotels, but one have to pay for it here. Only one receptionist during the afternoon shift, which makes the guests wait to get their matters solved. A cleaning lady just ignored the" Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, and enterd our room...however I do not know if this is a commom practice in this hotel.

I've stayed there before the room given was awful but the room before. Room 20 was really nice ! Stayed at the rambrant before a complete different experience the too Was a twin room when requested and spoke to comfirm it was a double. Loud banging throughout the night , there was also rude staff at the reception . The too Had no bigger towels and the windows were wide open when we walked in making the room freezing and took like 3 hours to get warm !

Centrally located near the five streets and central Amsterdam. Hotel seems a little bit tired. It could do with a light refurbishment.

Great location overlooking canal and close to Dam Square. Clean room and reasonably quiet for getting a good nights sleep. Feels a bit dated and could do with a spruce up.

I know this hotel since 4 years. Location = 5 * Every year hotel gets worse and more dirty. With only 1-2 people at the reception they try to give service. Carpets, corridors, rooms, curtaimns are smelling, es stinkt.. If you need anything or if you are sick it is better to call the hospital , instead of tring to find somebody at the service in the hotel. You make a ppackage price to attract us ; but if yo are in the hotel you pay for the internet 1 hour = 5 Euros. Today whereas internet is free everywhere, you pay extra 10 Euros everyday to the hotel if you area a businessman. I scare about yr recommandations...
