Excellent location, welcoming staff and good atmosphere. Good value for money, if you plan to do lots of sightseeing and spend less time in the hotel room. All the attractions are nearby and good transport connection. It takes lots of time for the heating to start working. |

Nice & clean, small hotel. Price was great 'cause it includes a good breakfast it the neighbour's club (which was a nice place!) and the rooms were tidy. Staff was friendly, too! If you're looking a good-priced, small and clean hotel with not much extra-comforts (just somewhere to go sleep to), I would definitely recommend this one! As almost in every Holland's hotel/hostel, the windows are thin and it actually feels like sleeping on the street 'cause they block no sound. It was hard to get sleep in that noise. |

Very helpful staff (when found at reception) and a clean room as well.. Very good location ... Very noisy at night, couldn't sleep well untill 4am :( . . We had very noisy guests nxt door as well and it was a nightmare because at night they made a party in the room with lot of noise of laughter and foul language..When we tried to get help from reception one night @ 3am , I didn't find nobody at reception to make them stop..... |

There is the night club on the ground floor and, despite we were on the 5th floor, the sound was very noticeable. I recommend to take ear plagues with you. Also the window was broken so we could not really close it. |

Friendly english speaking staff, the rooms and the shared bathroom were very small but clean. The included breakfast was good but did not start untill 9.00am. location was great near lots of restaurants, nightclubs, shops, banks etc. Tram stop very close by which was good as the trams are the best way to get around Amsterdam. |

Staff is nice and helpful. No lifts. Stairs are narrow and steep. Basin in the room is too small. |

Firstly we were not staying at the hotel but were staying in one of their apartments, which was literally one minute walk away. The location of the apartment was fantastic, right next to Rembrandt Square, like the hotel and this is also a good location to start from as you are very near both Leidasplain and the red light district, both great tourist attractions. As I mentioned we stayed in the self sufficient apartment, which was great however, there were no cups, glasses, cutlary etc which was a bit poor but everything else to do with it was fine.I've always stayed in hotels before when having a city break but this experience would certainly make me look for apartments in the future. If there was one downside, like what everybody else has mentioned, is the breakfast. In fairness we did turn up with only 30 mins of breakfast left but there was not much to choose from. |

Location was great. Price was great. Have to be fit to cope with the stairs. No telly, no towels. Noise wasn't too bad for a city centre hotel. Breakfast way too late for people who want to get out and explore, only actually had it once! Would recommend this hotel only to those who want a bargain basement holiday. |

Conveniently located. Very easy access. The staff was helpful, and they try hard to make the best of this cheap looking hotel. It is above a bar/club, so the noise is noticeable. The smell to smoke is way too much (but it was solved by opening the windows and running a fan for a whole day). |

I liked the fact that it was right in the centre, a great location for everything. the only thing that was not very good was that we did not have clean towels, the mirror was too high on the wall, not good for a 5ft nothing person :-) the plug socket was in an awkward place. overall the stay was brilliant and great value for money |

Good value for money. The hotel is nothing flash. Ideal for a groups trips to Amsterdam, whereby all you're really looking for is a bed. Would be good for back packers too. Good location: Lots of bars and a couple of nightclubs in the square. Not far to the other sights. Does what it says on the tin. Wasn't really there long enough to not like anything. Not really a place for couples seeking a leisure/romantic weekend away, or familys on a short break. |

Most of the staff were friendy and helpful, the room was very simple but clean and tidy, with kettle and sink included. Showers weren't great and the room itself could have done with an extra fan as it was unbearably hot and there was no air conditioning. |
