I've booked a superior club room with canal view for the price of 394 Euro/night for 2 days. Upon arrival at the reception, one of the front desk staff named Kit, sent us to a regular room at the 2nd floor (thinking that we would not be aware of the difference between a regular room and a superior room, not to mention that the room was facing the backyard of the building!) I called the guest relations but the telephone was shut to my face two times (thinking that I am not aware about them seeing my room number when I dial) Finally a lady took my phone and told me she would check the connectivity of my line of the room (thinking that I am a moron!) She took my complaint about their behavior and my demand for a superior club room with canal view. 10 mins later Kit called me and proposed us to spend some time in the city so that he could make the necessary change. We left our luggage and spent quite a time in the city and when we got back we saw that they arranged a superior room at the 3rd floor! I didnt want to ruin my trip so I didnt complain about the canal view! Those staff should be informed that people, no matter what nationality they are, are not morons and most of them are aware of what they have paid for and they should not be treated as ignorant stupid people!

The central position Staff was unkind and unpolite. I booked a twin room and it was not yet ready at nine in the evening. I woul have waited more than 45 minutes to prepare it. They say me that my request was not guaranteed. But there was written anything in the reservation, And they asked me more than 300 instead of 260 the price of the room. Really a very bad presentation. Never put my feet in that hotel. It's not a five star hotel, 2 or less.

Very bed personal!!! Avery day at 8 A.M. Open door in the room & some body coming!!! Ask about cleaning room!!! After at 9 A.M. Again open door my room & tell me: "I cam in cheek your mini bar"!!! I can't information about "no disturb" beacose in the not something for information!!! Hotel have two or more bilding & mostly people must use 2 lift for go in the room!!! Beat wen lift 100 or more metres for wolk beatwen different level!!! Bad navigation! If you live in room 9.. - your must take lift to 2 flor, after you must go 3!!! Blocks & ... You must find new lift (it's no easy) & like a casino - your look variants 2-3 or 4 push... Mostly not comfortable hotel & Very Very expensive!!! Nobody goo ther!!!

The location was perfect. It was only a 10 mimute walk from the station and 5 minutes right into the heart of the city. The Club Lounge was a bonus but it does get very busy at breakfast time. We enjoyed a truly excellent meal in Scossa on the first evening and after walking round and soaking up the atmosphere in the city we had a relaxing nightcap in the bar. We would definitely stay here again. We were a bit disappointed with the bathroom - it looks great but the shower wasn't very good and the towels were quite thin and felt as though they'd seen better days.

It's near to the Central Station, 5 min walk, and in the city centre. Room and bath room are clean. Bed is very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would certainly go back and stay at this hotel again.

Bed was comfortable, staff was ok. Generally speaking, the hotel does not meet at all 5* hotel standards. It's more a 4* hotel designed for business travelers. (Small room, only bath and no shower, no tea/coffee facility in the room, no breakfast included, internet not included --> 25€). On top of that, our room had a view on the shopping street (it was really noisy in the room at night due to the badly isolated windows) and the air conditioning is very noisy (we just turn it off in the end). So if you're a couple on a leisure trip... DO NOT GO THERE, you'll be sooo disapointed.

The most important: staff are friendly and helpful Mini bar was a bit small in size and the warning about it being auto- detect if anything taken out of it is almost non-existent. No drinks making facility.

Not very happy, problem with room card, caused the lift to get stuck. Stuck in lift for 15 minutes, duty manager promised a complementary breakfast in my room fo 6.00 - .6.15am. But even that didn't arrive.

The hotel was fantastic; there was an error in the booking process, which was quickly rectified by the staff at the hotel (with an upgrade). The hotel was clean and all the staff were impeccably presented, well worth its 5 stars.

Good location A lot of noise in the room at night, piping from top floors to the drain "seemed" to be under a false ceiling in our room and woke us up at night several times... This is sufficient reason for me not to visit this hotel again, because I never had so much noise in a room (not even in 3 or 4 star hotels)

I stayed at this hotel for the second time and I was very happy to return again. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent. It is 5 minutes away from the train station and 10 mins away from Dam square. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to have a great time in Amsterdam.
