good location and clean
requested to be there 2pm. they agreed this time was fine. On arrival, apartment not ready and not even cleaned! had to leave luggage and return later.
Size of the appartment.
Is was very difficult to find the appartment after picking up the key in the reception area some 100 meter away. The reception lady was very unfriendly next morning when I gave back the key. There was a very loud party close to the appartment until 3 a.m.
The flat is really cutie, in a perfect location better than is impossible ,in middle the market .. I enjoy and soon will back again
The wifi doesnt work aswell..!!
The wifi did not work. After all of the bad reviews due to the wifi this is disappointing, but I guess not unsurprising.
Very close to the city center. Staff tried to be helpful.
The management is not professional. Stair case of the residence is very narrow and steep. Staircase Light in the second and third floors was broken. It was completely dark to the extent that you can not open the door of the residence. During my three days stay there were no wi-fi, despite it is mentioned in the reservation.
Location right in the middel of the town on the market.
Poor staff gave wrong key and asked as to come and fetch the right one Above a "coffee shop" At third Floor, no Elevator
No soap, no tea towels, unvaccumed and un mopped on arrival. Lots of cigarette buts in courtyard
Spacious, well appointed, great location. Easy parking. Supermarket nearby.
Beds too soft. Too May spiders and cobwebs, esp. above beds. Not enough pillows
Location (except for the bells). Wifi was good once the staff gave us the right password.
Upper room could be very hot if the weather is hot. Air conditioner did not work, no screens on the windows to keep flies out. On a hot day it could be unbearable. Also the church bells ring and keep you up until midnight. Then they start up again at 8am. Staff gave us the wrong wifi password. We walked back 400m to talk to staff about the wifi not working and they gave us the wrong password again. This happened again. Simple mistake, a lot of hassle for us.
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Swift response when we reported faults.
Reception a bit of a trek from the apartment - about 20 minutes walk away. No handbook - had to call to get the wifi password.
The apartments are in a good location. The room is clean with a decently equipped kitchen. Bathroom very clean, you also have a washing machine.
The walls are very thin so you can hear very well somebody walking on the hallways. The wifi was not working properly.
Superb amount of space. Huge well furnished living and dining area - good sized bedrooms - modern kitchen and bathrooms - well equipped with most basic items. Pleasant terrace to the rear of the apartment. Location was good for Maastricht tourist/shopping centre. Set on a nice quiet street just off one of the main squares (Marktplatz). We took the 1st and 2nd floor apartments. We found the price quite reasonable when spread across our group of 2 couples per apartment coming in at about GBP 120 per night which you could easily spend on a hotel room.
Properties had been cleaned but not to the kind of standard you would expect in a good hotel - most areas were quite acceptable. Some of the pots and pans could have done with replacing and some of the bed linen had small holes in it. Stairs are quite steep to the 1st and 2nd floor - only a problem when taking heavy bags up.
Great central location.
No hair dryer. No tea towel. Dining table and sideboard not cleaned. Overhead shower needs a shower curtain. Plug not working in bathroom sink. No information pack, which would have been useful to provide nearest supermarket, emergency numbers etc. Bedroom was in "outside" annex and was kept awake by next door's loud music until 2am!
When we went to the address given to check in, no mention was made that we were staying in a different location. We chose this particular hotel because of its location! As we had arrived before the 3pm check in time we were told we could park in the underground car park at a cost of €25 for 24 hours. We decided against this which was lucky because it was a car journey to our actual apartment and would have wasted €25. We returned at 16:30pm to check in and unloaded all of our baggage only to be told we were staying elsewhere( no mention of this was made at the time of booking) we then loaded all of our stuff back into the car and drove to our accommodation. On arrival at the apartment we found it hadn't been cleaned and all beds were unmade and not changed, soaking wet towels on the floor which we later found out were because the shower enclosure leaks! dirty crockery/cutlery and full up bins. Around 17.00pm the cleaners turned up and finished about half an hour later. When I mentioned it to the staff when checking out they couldn't have been less interested, apprently this happens because they have 35 apartments to clean, sorry but if you have so many apartments of which you are charging €350 a night you need to employ more staff! Also there was a beeping noise throughout the night at 5 minute intervals and the wifi kept cutting out. These guys need to try harder, would not recommend that anyone stay here, quite expensive and let down by the running of the operation!
Space Facilities Location
No maid service but didn't bother to much. Could have been cleaner but actual apartment made up for any bad points
Good location, walking distance from everything. Well-equipped kitchen, that we didn't need. Comfy beds.
We were on the top floor - 3 flights of spiral, marble stairs to climb up and down, and then another flight of very small, steep stairs to the second bedroom and the bathroom. Only air conditioning was in the lounge, nothing in the bedrooms.
Very roomy apartment right in the middle of Maastricht when all hotels were booked out. Nice and quiet.
Very good location, comfortable beds
Lack of ventilation, battered furniture.
Location Size of the apartment
Bathroom was clogged Quite expensive and not very good value for money
On arrival at Apartment and freshening up for the Andre Rieu Concert, we showered and changed, only to find that the Shower hot water Tap could not turn off Hot Water, we thought it was just excess water in the lines, so left to drain. We returned after the concert, to an extremely HOT SHOWER ROOM AND APARTMENT, with the Hot Water still running in Shower. We rang, on our own phone to the Residences line, who could not understand our English Language, then to the emergency number on your letterhead. At around 2am, in morning, We managed to locate the water supply and turn off water. We also received a return call to say they could not come out at this time of the night. So this left us in an extremely HOT APARTMENT. We opened both windows, of this not so luxurious Apartment, and tried to sleep. This morning we now can NOT have a shower, or even flush the toilet, no water !!!!! Secondly, there is no remote control for the Television. As you say in your letter, OUR AIM IS TO MAKE YOUR STAY AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE. Well, sorry to say, but you have failed miserably Another fault, upon arrival at Head Office, we were walking and pulling a trolley case, to be informed that we then had to walk to the opposite side of town to get to apartment, over Cobbled Paths, pulling case, was Extremely disappointing and annoying, you did agree to get us a Taxi, that you would pay for, which cost us an extra € 14.50.. This has been a most disappointing ending to a most wonderful, although wet, Concert. Regards Graeme Hegarty
We booked two apartments for one family with six children. The reservation of two apartments in two different locations at the third floor (one location without elevator) wasn't obvious.
4th floor, narrow spiral stairs, 5 days to get wifi working, lights burnt out on arrival, old food found in cupboards when we arrived, dust bunnies under beds. Maid services sucked!
Two things were extremely bad: sanitation - no waste water discharge from the bathroom and very bad wi-fi
Location, rooms as such.
It was very convenient for me as I was helping my son move flat. The bed was comfy and I always like having my own kitchen, even if it is just to use the fridge and the kettle. Generally it was quiet although the general party when the Netherlands beat Australia in the World Cup could not be ignored when the cheers went up from the Coffee Shop opposite.
I could log on to Wi-Fi but I couldn't work out how to get past the opening page. I am a regular business traveller but I gave up and used my 4G. Give Wi-Fi for free or don't bother. (And I work in Telecoms!) My son fell about laughing when he saw the Coffee Shop opposite. Perhaps a gentle warning about what the term means in Maastricht might help. We were also accosted by a desperate Belgian tourist trying to get us to buy 'weed' for him. This resulted in a surreal scene with me translating between him and my son who was resolutely saying no. However it should be noted that drug dealers do hang out on this street. No problem for ordinary travellers but worth noting.
For this amount of Money it was not worth it to stay at. There are similar concepts in town which are cheaper and BETTER!!!
