I lliked the location, its quaintness,the antiquity in the lobby/restaurant area of the hotel. The outdoor courtyard was reaaly nice and right beside a canal. The restaurant was poorly run. The food was overpriced and poorly prepared. I ordered chicken and it was still raw when I cut into it and the white beans were hard when chewed. I was told they were supposed to have a bite to them and the chicken was cooked. I sent it back because I did not want to chance getting really sick on raw chicken. We had to wait a total of 2 hrs and 25 min for our food |

This hotel is as quaint as it gets, excellent location on the canal in the heart of a wonderful town - Edam. The restaurant at the hotel is wonderful, excellent food and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and most definitely will return again. Great Brekkie also |

Extremely good site, picturesque, good taste decoration very good resrtaurant. Very polite and helpfull personnel They offered two bably lointed single beds instead of a large double bed. Thus sleaping as couple was uncomfortable. |

de gezellige sfeer in het restaurant en in het centrum van Edam. We stelden het ook erg op prijs dat we van de eigenaar een kaart mochten gebruiken om gedurende ons verblijf gratis te kunnen parkeren op het nabij gelegen (betaalde) parkeerterrein. |

Zeer net hotel. Goed verzorgd en netjes. Is best een aanrader. Tevens een overheerlijke keuken. Erg jammer dat de ruimte van het toilet in het restaurant erg klein is. Dit is eigenlijk niet meer van deze tijd. |
