Hotel information

All the year our hotel park is a feast for the eye. During spring and summer the pond is the dazzling centre of the park. You can see beautiful carps swimming among the blooming water lilies, while the fountain provides a cooling down on hot summer days.

A lot of people get to rest when they read a good book. You can always enter our library to pick your title. In our library you can also use the billiard table.

Food & beverage

n the restaurant you can enjoy our delicious courses. These courses are often typical for the season and region. During spring we serve lamb and asparagus, in summer many courses are prepared with summer fruits and autumn is the time for roast game. All our courses are prepared freshly, and the result is delicious.

Our restaurant is completely designed in Saxon style. All tables are set with real linen, silverware and a colorful bouquet. In this way you will feel out but still home. Besides you can hire a private room for your company to enjoy a refined dinner or a sumptuous buffet.

A refined dinner is not complete without a matching wine. That is why we take a lot of care for our wine list and wine cellar. Besides a wide selection of French, German and Italian wines, which contains very old wine-years, we have superb wines from the new wine-countries, like Australia, Argentina and South Africa. There is also a special list with a great variety in port-wines, sherries and madeira’s.

All our rooms are provided with a bath or shower, a toilet, telephone and colour-TV, and most of them are accessible by lift. The rooms have a lovely view over the old farms, woods, banks and meadows that are typical for Twente. To enjoy this sight even more several rooms have a balcony.

Area information

In the neighbourhood of De Lutte you can find a whole range of leisure possibilities. The hotel-restaurant De Lutt lies within a stone’s throw of the nature park ‘Het Lutterzand’, where you can see the river ‘De Dinkel’ winding through the landscape. De Lutte has also the ‘Arboretum Poortbulten’, a beautiful flora park where you can see rare trees and plants. In the neighbourhood of the hotel a lot of walking, bicycle and car routes are mapped out, which lead you along splendid woods, old farm yards and picturesque villages. Some of these routes, which are available in the hotel, go in Germany.

The tourist town Oldenzaal lies on only a few minutes by car from our hotel. The town Ootmarsum is worth a visit, because of its old timbered houses and art galleries. You can also be introduced to Twentes’ culture, which is kept up by a lot of old customs. In the Easter time you can see a lot of Easter fires, and in the Advent time you can hear the ‘midwinter horn’ sound over Twente’s landscape. In the open-air museums of Losser and Ootmarsum you can learn more about the culture of Twente.

Coming from the West, South, and Middle of Holland
Follow A-1 via Deventer, Hengelo and Oldenzaal, direction Osnabrück (Germany).
Take the last exit before the Border (exit nr. 34 De Lutte) at Km 175,3
After ca. 1.400 m. turn to the right in the direction of Beuningen, Lutterzand.
After ca. 1.500 m. second hotel on the right.

Coming from the North of Holland.
Via Hardenberg, Tubbergen and Weerselo, follow the street until Oldenzaal.
At this place you follow the direction De Lutte. Don`t take the exit but drive on for about 500 meters, then turn to the left in the direction of Beuningen, Lutterzand.
After ca. 1.500 m. second hotel on the right.

Coming from Germany
Follow A-1 in the direction of Bad Bentheim, Hengelo.
After the Border, take the first exit (number 34. De Lutte) at KM 175,3
After ca. 1.400 m. turn to the right in the Direction of Beuningen, Lutterzand.
After ca. 1.500 m. second hotel on the right.
