The castle is surrounded by a large parkland with age-old trees and castle moats, ideal for weddings and parties. The service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The castle and grounds were lovely. Kasteel Wittem booked a restaurant for us on our first evening and sorted out all the arrangements. Breakfast was excellent, coffee could have been stronger, but the bread and orange juice were delicious. Very little, but if we had to say something then the towels could have been larger/fluffier and we could have had replenished shampoo etc.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. We most enjoyed the beauty and charm of the castle. Also, the staff was super friendly, kind, and helpful. They really worked hard to make our stay an enjoyable one. The only thing that kind of bothered us was that it wasn't closer to the nearest large city-Maastricht-but it was no problem to jump on a bus and ride 20/25 minutes to get there. :)

Hartelijke ontvangst, alle aandacht voor onze wensen, met een drankje van het huis. Uitstekende bedden, vers fruit en royale hospitality tray op de kamer. Keizerlijk ontbijt in de torenkamer. Niets!

zeer cliëntgericht, o.a. advies m.b.t. restaurants in omgeving en wandelroutes. Heerlijk ontbijt en prachtige locatie. klein minpuntje dat de matrassen van de bedden aan de zachte kant zijn.

Zeer persoonlijk contact. Meedenken bij het vinden van sfeervolle uitstapjes en het vervoeren zelfs naar nabijgelegen eetgelegenheden. Midden in de natuur. Uitvalsbasis voor allerlei wandelingen. Niets.

Prima gastvrije ontvangst. Mooie grote kamers met een echte kasteelsfeer, goed ontbijt 18 euro voor het ontbijt vind ik wel wat veel.
