In 1932 build the Almelose beer and sodaproducer Hagedoorn a nice villa for him to live. In 1943 when the factory had to close, he sold the villa to the PTT a port and telephone company. They where looking at vacation adresses for their employees and families, and this was a perfect place. The villa was extended with several facilities like a restaurant, serre, terrace, bar and a lovely garden. The beautiful nature of the Twentse landscape lies at your feet at the moment you leave the hotel.
At this moment Hotel Restaurant Wyllandrie is a eyecatscher, despite the renovations the character of the building has never changed.
The staff will offer you the original hospitality of Twente and a comfortable vacation in a cosy hotel situated in one of the most beautiful regions of the Netherlands.

Restaurant Hotel Wyllandrie has 40 twin rooms. We also have a family apartment.

Food & beverage

In our atmospheric restaurant you will experience the Twentse Hospitality and excellent kitchen.
The different menu's and the dishes on our à la carte menu are chosen from season products and products of this area. Our restaurant and kitchen staff will make sure that you will have a pleasant afternoon or evening.
During the summer season it is possible to dine on the terrace.
Our kitchen is open from 12.00 am till 21.00 pm.

Area information

The magnificant town Ootmarsum can be reached from the hotel by bike or walking. A lot of shops and galeries are worth a visit. You can start from the hotel for walking or biking routes. These you can ask for in the hotel.

Route Description

From Schiphol
Follow the signs Utrecht, Amsterfoort, Apeldoorn, Deventer, Hengelo Oldenzaal/Ootmarsum. On the A1 follow the signs Ootmarsum. Whyen you enter Ootmarsum follow the signs Almelo. At the T section you go to the left in direction Almelo. After 400 meters you will see Hotel restaurant Wyllandrie at your right handside.

From the North (groningen/Zwolle)
Follow the signs in direction Almelo. When entering Almelo follow the signs Ootmarsum (N349).
When entering Ootmarsum you will see Hotel Restaurant Wyllandrie after 100 meters at you left handsite.
