Rho Hotel  

Very central location on the edge of Dam Square with friendly staff

Stayed in a very tired attic room that would not suit anyone tall as we had sloping beams throughout giving restricted head height. The shower was over a slippy bath with a broken shower rail which came apart when you moved the curtain. All in all having taken approx 2 city breaks a year for the last 6 years this was definitely the worst room we have stayed in and would not use this hotel again as Amsterdam is such a walkable city I would advise anyone to move slightly further out to get better quality and value as the price of this hotel reflects its location rather than its standard of accommodation .

Location was excellent, near many tram lines. Hotel itself was very good.

For two days, in the morning, the Wifi was out. When I asked the reception for help, the lady didn't care so much, she said were very busy at that moment with other problems and guests. Well, I think they could have paid more attention in our needs, and not establish a level of priority based on their own criteria.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, and comfortable.

this hotel is greatly overpriced for the service it provided.

We love the hotel, the staff, cleanliness, food etc - in fact we have stayed before and it is the only Hotel we would stay in in Amsterdam. Very impressive.

The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel staff was very accomodating. I liked that I could store my luggage in a locked room prior to check in. The location was the best. Definitely worth the money. My room was quiet and easy to access.

In my room the towel rack over the toilet hit my head when I used the toilet. I am 6 feet one inch and not that tall.

We enjoyed staying at the Rho hotel, we had an apartment, it was spacious & comfortable, the staff were friendly & helpful, the breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices. Location is excellent, a few steps & you're in Dam Square. Would definitely stay there again.

No detergent, plug or tea towel in the kitchen

Clean, friendly staff, excellent location, staff extremely helpful for ideas of where to eat and how to get places like the art museums.

Would have liked a little more storage space in the room. Perhaps a dresser would be helpful.

The desk staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to be of service. Plus they remember previous guests. Very relaxed atmosphere. I would x definitely recommend it to friends a nd colleagues.

Absolutley loved the staff. Brendan, the scottish chap was easily the nicest guy ive met working in the trade. A genuine welcome a joker and understanding of our needs and why we chose to party in amsterdam. The price was not cheap but it was Queens day and 490eu for 3 nights is expected. Right in Dam Square and advise for anyone the breakfast choice is magnificent. The small but quaint bar had a piano which made us feel at home and they let us play on it. Thanks Rho. X jen and dave.

The price and the fact only two plug sockets were working. The room was quite small and the main light didnt work.
