Rommene, rengjøringen, hva med en liten hotell bar???, Skifte ut hele badet, det stinker!!!

Frokosten var god med bra utvalg. Spesielt med champagne til frokost! Bra beliggenhet i forhold til bysentrum.

Det hadde gjort seg med litt bedre belysning både i korridorene og på rommet. Også renholdet på rommet var lite tilfredstillende.

The staff was very helpfull and tried to solve the best way a problem we had with reservation, in the end we had a great time! The hotel is very well located, you can walk everywhere, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The small rooms have a problem with showers, the water goes everywhere as there is no separation on the bathroom floor.

Besides very small rooms, the bathroom was full of mildew and there was no air conditioning. In addition, there was construction across the street which started around 7 am. Very noisy. I would not stay at this hotel again nor recommend to anyone else!

There is no enough light in the rooms, the breakfast is "light", the wifi does not stop do be disconnected, beds are not of great quality and there is some noise very early in the morning when rooms are cleaned!

We loved the location of the hotel. You felt very safe arriving and leaving the hotel as it is located in a very nice neighborhood. It is also convenient to a number of attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. We also enjoyed the lounge area on the 2nd floor of the hotel. There was internet access, a drink machine, and areas to talk, play cards or just relax in the lounge. The rooms seemed quite clean and were fairly well updated. One of the three rooms we stayed in had a quite outdated bathroom area, but the other two rooms had nice bathrooms. Another nice feature was the box of discount cards for area attractions located in the lounge area. We took advantage of several coupons and saved several pounds. The elevator and maid service were helpful and above average.

The staff at the reception desk were friendly to a point. One female staff member was rather impolite to a friend calling into the hotel trying to locate a member of our party. The phones in all three of our rooms did not work. The firsrt evening, phones in two rooms worked momentarily, but by the second day, only one phone was working. By the third day, all three phones were unable to receive calls. This made it nearly impossible for us to connect with a friend in Amsterdam with whom we had planned to visit. The stairs are very steep with very narrow treads. It is almost dangerous to try to use them to maneuver between floors. The worst aspect of our stay was dealing with the doorknob and lock on one of our three rooms. It was almost impossible to unlock the door once you finally got it locked. This room was also the first room to experience a non-functioning telephone. This was actually a dangerous situation since the phone didn't work and the door was very difficult to open. The lock and phone issues need to be addressed by the hotel.

The hotel's location was great and within walking distance of the best museums in Amsterdam and Vondel Park. Getting around the city was very easy from the hotel (tram line 5 would take you quickly to Dam Square, Amsterdam Central station, etc). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the decor wasn't too bad.

The room was pretty small (one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever seen) however it was tidy and clean. As I didn't stay in my hotel room much, was mainly for sleeping and taking a shower to freshen up etc, I didn't need much room facilities, but I noticed the TV was rather small and there was no phone or fridge.

Efficient friendly and very helpful staff in front reception and dining room. Delicious breakfast, varied foods.

Confusion with booking on arrival, not explained by online booking service very clearly regarding what was paid for and what was not. 10 euros charge to have tea/coffee in room- quite disgraceful. Very hot poor ventilation
