Nice and spacious rooms with large windows that let plenty of light in. Also, nice breakfast and friendly and cooperative staff. Extremely steep (almost vertical) stairs - so typical in many older buildings in Amsterdam - can be prohibitive for many persons who are either elderly or suffer from reduced mobility. |

The staff was very kind.(fabiano) Overpriced for what it delivered.Some food became stale.There were spiders on the bed,wholes in the wall.Everything was dirty,stained,broken and worn-out.The room was not made up during our stay. |

Really easy to find by car from A10/A2; withing walking distance of city centre; quiet location; interesting design; nice and friendly staff; excellent coffee! Proper doors to the toilet/shower cubicle would have been nice :-) |

The design of the room was great, beds and room were comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for quiet and accessibility to canal area. Wi-fi did not reach the top floor, so if you're concerned about that, ask for a lower room. |

The part time caretaker went out of his way to make up for the deficiencies Overpriced for what it delivered. Inadequate management supervision, poor repairs and maintenance - eg broken window in our room covered with cardboard. Facilities did not live up to web site specification - eg no coffee making facilities. Has been nice, but now in a state of decay - suggest you delist unless significantly improved. |

Nothing : the room was really in a bad state, and it was definitely overpriced for such worn-out room. Everything was dirty, stained,smelly, broken and worn-out.The photos published of this place are absolutely misleading. Breakfast also was disappointing, with "cheap" products. They should not put guests is this "Brown" room, and charge 308Euro for 3 (horrible) nights ! |

The room was nice and clean, the location very quiet and the personal friendly. The price was high, but in accordance with most Amsterdam hotels. when we arrive nobady was there for the check-in (althought we did notifythem about our arrival time). Moreover, it was imposible to reach the personal by phone (it seems it was desconected). We waited more than 1 h outside, until that eventually the personal appeared. Thus, my suggestion is: make sure that they will be there when you arrive!! |

Great host and good location. Spacious and light, bright room with good beds. Very relaxed and chilled & good breakfast. The late check out was much appreciated. Needs a few finishing touches & would prefer more regular cleaning. |

the staff where very friendly, to tell the truth I've never met such a friendly staff willing to help any time. I also enjoyed the view of my room, it was 15 minutes max by foot from central square (leidseplain) which is very important and at last the breakfast was excellent in fact one of my best from many other hotels I have visited. I had a small problem with the many stairs that this hotel has, we where staying at the top so we had to walk too many steps but it was ok, good exercise. also as I know the most hotels in Amsterdam doesn't have elevator. if you don't have problems with the stairs then it's a perfect place to stay.. |

The place has a very quiet location, the staff is helpful in general. The breakfast was very good. Some of our requests were not fulfilled (e.g. asked for replace the lightbulbs not working which never happened) |

Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, spacious room Not situated at the city center but it only takes 30 min walking from Central Station or 15 mins tram ride, so that's fine. |

The room was quite colorful and nice. Just on the border of the center of the city so parking was slightly cheaper as well. But i would strobgly recommend not to take a car to Amsterdam... The room was not cleaned the following day ... the stairs to go up ver very narrow (was difficult to go up with the Luggage) .... |

Staff friendly, helpful. Advice on how to get to hotel from airport very helpful, owner met us at hotel. Good breakfasts. Excellent location for sightseeing, on two major tram lines. Liked decor--modern, bright. I'm afraid the hot water is so hot it may scald someone--they should turn down hot water heater. Would like some room service during day--no indication that even trash emptied during day. Bathrooms are small, but that can't be helped--they have done the most possible with them, and have done well to fit them in at all given that it's an old house. |

The room is very nicely decorated and the mattress is very good. The hotel is close to the metro and tram, and it's a nice walk from most other destinations in the city. |
