no air con
- mini kitchen in the room (fridge, water cooker, microwave, sink + crockery and plates) - right next to a metro station (just a few stops to center of town and one stop to Ahoy conference center) - clean and spacious room - comfortable (and quite new) beds
- decor is supposed to be artsy but it is looking very worn - bathroom needs re-decorating, probably not touched since the 80's
Arty interior, very kind and helpfull staff, very close to public tranportation, spacious room with kitchenette.
Room and hallway very warm, but this will be solved the coming months by putting in Air conditioning.
Nice and friendly staff
Very good rooms at a very good place at a fair price
The Wifi is not working on the second day and the staff just tell us they unable to fix it.
the style and the view
It was to warm in the room.
Interesting decor and well equipped room. Hotel was within easy walking distance of the city centre and provided good value for money.
Poor signage on the outside of the hotel - until entering the building it's not clear that it is the Best Western.
The daily service of the hotel was very good and friendly. Because we were working the service was done while we made our lunch break. That was very comfortable for us.
Stayed many times before when it was Art Hotel Best Western. Rooms always spacious and comfortable. Wet room spacious. Kitchenette practical. Plan to stay there again in 2015
Kettle that did not go off automatically.
Nice breakfast, room with decent standard and space, quiet even in the weekend.
Me and my friend stayed there because it was close to the concert's venue and we just loved our room!!! The whole hotel looks amazing! Gives really positive energy! The staff at reception were always so helpful and cheerful! Always happy to help and provide information and some items we needed :) The beds were so comfortable! And the kitchenette.... no words!! Great!!! Definitely going to stay there again when going back to Rotterdam! No other hotel, but this one!! :)
There was literally nothing that upset or didn't satisfied me or my friend. Love this hotel!! :)
Great view, very comfortable, quiet.Very useful small kitchen area.
1) No UK adaptor plug available! 2) Website said £8 for breakfast; on arrival at hotel, price was stated to be EUR 15 each. Too steep for a family of 4 for 3 days!
Spacious room and nice breakfast area. Hotel location was near a tube station which was very handy.
They have problems with mice and unfortunately I saw one running around the breakfast area. Also I asked them to fix the safe in the room at least three times and the request was ignored. Finally, there is no phone in the room, if you need to call reception, you have to go out in the corridor and use the phone there.
modern interiors, god location 1 minute walk from metro station, secure parking space
coffee maker did not make good taste coffee.
Location was all important to our choice
Bathroom smelled like old urine. Piece of plastic bag under table was there when I arrived and still when I left. Were several piles of dust on electrical outlet and other places that showed a lack of cleaning. Parking: entering and leaving: logistics poorly, time wasting while one has to wait for someone to open the gate.
Cheap, good location
3 things. 1. after booking online, i contacted the hotel 3 times trying to book a parking place, they never responded me. I had to call the hotel myself to make sure. 2. it took us 20 minutes to check in with only 1 person in front of the line. the staff at the front desk was simply horribly inefficient. 3. the hotel is really old with smelly beddings. even though the sheet was clean, the smell came from the inside....very unpleasant night.
I travelled to this hotel in a group of two boys and two girls all in early 20's for a festival called Beatloverz which was a 5-6 minute walk down the road. The hotel was very clean with spacious rooms which had on-suites and kitchen facilities. Breakfast is 15 euros extra but with the kitchen facilities was more then easy to make your own breakfast. The staff were very friendly, polite and very helpful. The check in was very quick and simple with no problems. All in all was a very good hotel for what we needed it for but wasn't that close to the city centre but there is a tram station right outside so very easy to nip into the centre.
The only thing we didn't like was the parking, it was a bit hard to find and wasn't very many spaces.
Great location next to Maashaven rail station, eclectic decorations, nice hotel, good free WiFi
Not much, limited TV stations
Where to start..... rooms are spacious, clean and individual. Has a large kitchen with microwave, fridge and utensils to almost self cater if you wish. Large bathroom with a proper sized bath. Comfortable bed and sofa. my advice is to take a high floor if you can as the views across Rotterdam at night are quite stunning. All the staff spoke English very well and were only too pleased to help with anything. The food is also top notch.
Can be a little noisy from road noise and the metro, but it was only really audible when the tv was off and I was being quiet.
Reception person good and client oriented.
departure desk. Was more bureaucratic in dealing with client.
Comfortable and artistic lounge. Friendly staff. Artistic atmosphere. Good price.
A little bit far from touristy places, but definitely walkable. If you booked a parking spot, you could only get into the garage if a hotel staff opens the gate manually. Which means you'll need to park the car across the small street first, go into the hotel and ask for someone to open the gate. The entrance to the hotel is also on the adjacent side of the building from the parking entrance.
