Sandton Hotel Eindhoven City Centre  

Very good location - very near to the street with pubs, bars, shops... Staff was very friendly. Clean and quiet place.

Free parking on the street curb from 18.00 - 9.00. good location, friendly staff

15.50 Euro for breakfast and charging for a cappuccino extra. come on!!!!! Breakfasts tend to get a rip off.

Fine location

Noisy, small and cold room... Next morning staff asked if everything was ok, I answered I didn't sleep well... No apologies or whatever. Won't come back.

Nice room with desk to work at. Very central and fairly peaceful and safe for a female. Nice chamber maid staff.

Reception staff behave like for Soviet bloc hotel workers who make you feel they are doing you a big favour each timer you ask something. They wont give you a wyi fi password over the hotel internal phone - they insist you come downstairs even though its late and perhaps you are tired. It seems primitive that they make you bring and pick up laundry from reception - like in a school or youth hostel. For the price this is not acceptable. Some of the staff seems unsure of their work as though they are not propery trained. And they really should explain that is you book directly a room at reception it will cost more than booking online. A girl on reception asked me to pay 640 e for six nights and that the price quoted on the hotel websiter per room was in fact per person! Then she reduced the price as though she were doing me a favour. When I looked online I realised the price was per room and I could book the six days for 500e. I felt as though I was being cheated but put it down to total ignorance. If I recomend the hotel I would add a caveat about the staff.

Good location for the town centre and easy to find and good secure garage

No air conditioning - way too hot. Only a noisy fan in the room. Beds too soft and sheets too old (bobbly). Noisy with single pane glass windows (that didn't shut properly) out onto street so could hear all traffic. Tv old with no remote. No mini bar/fridge in room. No tea, coffee facilities. Very small room.

Excellent hotel in a good location. Made even better with the underground car park where I felt the motorcycles were completely safe.

The beds were super comfy and the room was always spotless... staff were lovely too and hotel was situated right at the centre of the town ( about a 5 min walk )

As i am a smoker it was a non smoking hotel so that was the only bad thing about it. but i managed not to think about it that much...

good location and parking

The hotel was in a very good location to shops, bars ,restaurants ,railway etc. Hotel was spotless clean. Staff were friendly. The beds are really comfortable and the room was silent. We would highly recommend the Sandton Hotel.

Bij binnenkomst vallen de talloze vlekken en zelfs restanten kauwgom in de vloerbedekking gelijk op. De kamers zijn niet roken, er hangt zelfs een rookmelder en een waarschuwing. Echter wordt dit aan de stank in de kamer te beoordelen massaal genegeerd. Snel een raam open. Het bewijs ligt op het platje naast het raam, volop sigarettenpeuken. En helaas precies naast deze kamer een enorme afzuiginstallatie van het hotel, die behoorlijk wat lawaai maakt. Als ik niet kapot moe was geweest van de reis en niet al mijn spullen in de haast al had uitgepakt, was ik gelijk naar buiten gerend. Ramen dus weer dicht en een nacht vol benauwde stank en alle schone kleren kunnen linea direct naar een wasserij. Beklag bij het hotel leverde een verbaasde: “fijn dat u dit meld, we zullen het doorgeven” op. De vlekken en stank zijn dusdanig dat dit over een langere periode is verzameld. Ik kan dan ook niet anders dan concluderen dat dit de standaard is van dit hotel. Conclusie: Zoek je een hotel om stiekem in je kamer te roken en slaap je het liefst in je bed met je schoenen nog aan, dan is dit een primahotel. Stel je meer prijs op een schone en frisse kamer, waar je niet bang hoeft te zijn om je schoenen uit te trekken en wil je niet alle je kleding impregneren met de stank van dooie hond, zoek dan verder naar een ander hotel.

Er tegenvallende kamers, klein en geen voorzieningen. Flinterdun hoofdkussen,synthetisch beddengoed. Ontbijtbuffet erg mager. Douchedeur defekt en lekkende. Niet waard om EUR 143 incl ontbijt te betalen
