Hotel Sander  

Friendly staff. Lift. Almost directly at tram stop (#16) and one long block from Congertgebouw/Museumplein/van Gogh museum. Close to Vondelpark in nice nieghbourhood.

Clapped-out hotel with ancient, dirty carpeting, sofa, chairs. Beds were OK. Price was unbelievably high for the quality, although that probably was because of the dates. Only the breakfast room was modern. Breakfast not included in sky-high price.

The location near the museums (Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum) was the reason for the choice. Walking distance to all key city attractions. Tram stop within a 2 minute walk to Amsterdam Centra Station to catch trains and to the airport connection. Staff is really helpful with information. Also 24 hours service at the front desk for queries/requests.

Nothing really - it was perfect for a 2 day business/holiday trip, but not ideal for a relaxing luxury holiday.

The most reasonable rates I could find in Amsterdam (although still expensive). The hotel staff were wonderfully helpful. Close to the most popular museums, but a 20-30 minute walk from the city center.

The hotel is located in a great area, about 5 min walk to van Gogh and Rijksmuseum and about 15min to the city centre. The area is safe so it's fine to walk late at night without getting hassled by drunk people who are in abundance in the city centre. The hotel comes up as a 3-star hotel, very basic but nice and clean. Ideal for 2-night trip.

There was a group of lads behaving very loudly every night plus the reception is closed between 8pm- 6am so there is no way you can complain to anyone.

Really good hotel with nice staff. Perfect service, everyday I had new towels.

I think price can be less, but I can say the same thing to all hotels at this area :)

la discordanza nel metodo di pagamento tra quello che c'è scritto su booking(che la carta di credito serve solo come garanzia ma che il pagamento avviene poi all'arrivo)e quello che è stato effettivamente al nostro arrivo all'hotel(avevano già scalato il soldi dalla carta di credito e non volevano riaccreditarli e farci pagare in contanti)

Eigenlijk alles van het verblijf. Het is een hotel wat beneden peil is. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel, kamer wat net een donker hol is. Badkamer in de kast etc etc. Nee voor ons nooit meer en absoluut geen aanrader!!

Если честно, то понравиться в подобном отеле ничего не может. Чистенько и без тараканов. Вот то, что нам было нужно чтобы переспать ночь в Амстердаме.

Все уже указал выше. Единственное, что немного напрягло, так это то, что уже после завершения процедуры бронирования на вашем сайте мы узнали, что завтрак не входит в стоимость. А уже в отеле, при check out, нам сообщили, что при оплате кредитной картой взимается еще 4% комиссия. Грустно, ну да ладно. Обязательно поедем еще раз, уже на несколько дней, возьмем соответствующий запросам и положению отель.
