The Hotel Sander is recommended by the Dutch Automobile Club (ANWB) and the renowned French guide, Michelin.

The hotel is a 5-storey building, with a lift to all the floors and meets the latest international safety and fire prevention standards.

There is an internet corner, and laundry and dry-cleaning facilities. Hairdryers and other utilities are available on request.

A traditional Dutch breakfast is served in the lovely breakfast room that looks onto the garden.
Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00.

It includes assorted breads, ham, cheeses, soft boiled eggs, tea, coffee and juice.

The hotel’s bar is open all day.

Area information

Hotel Sander is located in a quiet residential area, in one of Amsterdam's most up market districts.
The famous Rijksmuseum, Van Gough Museum and Stedelijk Museum (modern art museum) are just a very short walk from the hotel, in the Museumplein.

The Concertgebouw (Amsterdam's main concert hall) is just minutes away, and the RAI Congress Hall is easily reached by tram.

Very near the hotel you will find exclusive shopping streets, and the Leidseplein, one of Amsterdam's liveliest squares, is just a short walk away.
Shops, theatres, bars, Europe's largest casino, and many different restaurants to suit every taste and budget can be found here.

Close by is the Vondel Park, ideal for jogging, a relaxing walk, or just sitting and basking in the sun.

With just a walk into the city centre or a short ride by tram, you get to the main canals (with Anne Frank’s house), Dam square or the Red Light District, among others.

A had a room underground. First and last experience ever!! Main reason is that I have major column problems and I had a tough time going down and then up the stairs with mu luggage

most of the hotel staff was very helpful and nice, location is good

room was just about basic, no safe deposit box, no fridge. found hairs in the shower when i arrived

A quiet location, clean rooms, a good price with breakfast included. Tram nearby.

Not enough shelves in the bathroom, coat hangers in the wardrobe. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom would have been nice
