Excellent Breakfast, Nice Location, friendly staff! not expensive.

Room was a bit old and needed a refurb. Down steep stairs to the room (could be a problem). Hot room.

People good. Great location, right in middle of town. Mixed up on booking on web site, booked for wrong night, my fault. honoured booking anyway. Pos because hotel was empty. .

Hotel in a sixties timewarp. needs a lot of TLC. but still good for a night or two. But why would you want to spend 2 nights in Sluis. Packed during the day but a Ghost town after 20.30

An outwardly attractive hotel with an unsurpassed central location in the idyllic village of Sluis. Hotel proprietor was friendly, courteous and helpful.

Bedroom and ensuite were of a basic but acceptable standard of furnishing and décor for a solo stay of a night or two but not of a modern-day standard that would meet my requirements for a stay of longer duration.

The front and thus the front part of the building is really welcoming and cosy. It is why I chose it, having been to Sluis before. The atmosphere in the dining room is equally ambient.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, we did not quite see the back of the hotel as it was already dark. We were efficiently checked-in, in a most friendly way, and informed as to where our room was. The room was very clean, but we did not realise until the morning that that section of the hotel was actually a portacabin! As such, there was an awful lot of condensation. Again, this is not a complaint, but temporary buildings for a 3* hotel? And at €77.00 per night before tax.... Come on!

We have just travelled by car across Europe from Izmir in Turkey and as usual the majority of hotels we stayed in were good. This was our last stop before we returned to the UK. The hotel is in a good location near the town centre and from the outside looked relatively alright,.

Just about everything! The staff were miserable and didn't make us welcome. The hotel is very tired and old fashioned especially the bedrooms. The on suite bathroom is a wooden box that has been fabricated in the bedroom. it was very small and uncomfortable and not what you would expect. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel because the place was deserted and it was like being in a morgue! This hotel is one to avoid!

Great location. Nice outdoor seating area. Good parking facilities. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast

Rooms and public areas very old fashioned. Room smelled musty and bathroom smelled of disinfectant. Very old and tatty furniture. Would be a lovely hotel if they spent a little money modernising and updating.
