staff wer great
the drainage smell in my room
Staff helpful, not far from Blaak & Beurs.
Smelly room and bathroom. The hotel badly needs to be refurbished.
location staff friendly and helpful when had to ask for room change trainee staff especially very helpful
changed room due to strong drains smell in bathroom. New room still had the basic problem but not worth a complaint. TV system would not change program (on TV) without it reverting each time to full menu requiring 10+ clicks to get another (free) TV channel - pushed every time to "special offer" (pay) or adult (pay) Wifi "free" but limited speed but again a push to 'pay' for full service expensive breakfast service especially as there are many cafes in the area
The staff was nice and professional
My bedroom stank and it wasn't possible to open my room's window. You do not expect such a room like that in a 4 stars hotel
The room wasn't clean. Poor wi-fi.
Staff went out of the way to be helpful, the bar in the hotel has fantastic Dutch snacks, room has everything you'd need, couldn't recommend enough
No free parking
Good breakfast. Cable Tv and Ordinary Tv with chanels in English, perfect location in the centre of Rotterdam, bible in the room, good street view.
Whenever you open the tap for some time, water leaks to the floor. Its a construction issue regarding the sink.
Location. But there are many other hotels in the same area.
Dirty room. I had to ask the reception to send someone at my room in order to change one pillowcase and one sheet. The pillowcase was, honestly, half black with many staff on it. What is more, the carpet was full of disgusting spots. Bathroom was under basic-level/quality. When I made the reservation, I had the option that Booking.com gives us to choose a big double bed or two single ones. I checked the big-double-bed option and when I got there I found two singles. The reception lied to me and told me that they never received such a piece of info from Booking.com...which is impossible. Whatever, just choose another hotel.
Bad smelling in the room
Everything was good
personeel bereid deal te sluiten
rioolstank slechte douche
Super comfortable bed. Great location.
Room was quiet cold. No extra blankets. One power point plug to charge electronic devices hidden under the tv entertainment unit. No toiletries provided in the bathroom.
Reception and bar staff and breakfast all very helpful - exceptionally so
Rooms could do with a little style update - some very stylish competition close bu
For my money the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly, especially the girl who has checked us in. Also, the location on Hoogstraat is obviously very good as it is just a few metres from Blaak Cube Houses and the fascinating New Market Hall.
Quite a small room and when you sit on the toliet you actually get stuck between the shower and the wall it's so little space there and I am not fat or anything like that. Also, the toliet paper holder is behind your head when you are sitting so it's kind of funny and we had a good laugh about it, but I am sure not everybody would it funny. Also, you can choose between real cold (in winter) or noisy A/C for the night so first night I slept like 2 hours. Another thing is that our room was next to the lift so very noisy with drunk folks banging doors all night. Last uncomfy thing was the pillow which was so tall that you could not find a normal body position for sleeping.
location .... price ...
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was the perfect size and also really clean.
There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel. The only slight problem was that our shower door wasn't on properly and the sink leaked. It wasn't an issue, however I did let reception know and they got somebody in to fix it as soon as they could.
*Room was cozy. *Taking small children in account with toys in a chest that comes with the room. *Very close to 'Markthal' and Tuesday market.
*Room was too small for a family of four, an extra bed causes even less moving room. * very small Bathroom *No hotel parking spot, Either from 23:00 - 09:00 free in front of the hotel, OR use the parkinglot "Kiphof" for 21 euro's for 24 hours. If you don't use it 24 hrs, still pay 21 euro. *Not suggestable to stay for longer then 2 maybe three days. *If you expect to save on money, don't go by car, just use public transportation. *Without Navigational help difficult to find.
The reception staff excellent, Room comfortable but did have to change, the first room given was too small. Good location for the city to sightsee on foot or by transport.
The service from the cleaning room staff. I requested an extra blanket, tea and sugar. The request was completely ignored. The reception staff had to sort it out for us in the evening when I discovered my requests hadn't been met.
The staff were very friendly, the location is great close to the traib station and in the heart of the city centre
The extra beds weren't very comfortable
The lift is very small, we had trouble fitting in the lift with 2 big suitcases
Very friendly Staff. Excellent location
The shower was defect and the room was verry dirty.
Staff was reasonable friendly. Not super service-oriented, but "OK".
Virtually every surface appeared not clean: There where spots on the walls, spots on the toilet, spots in the bath tub, spots on the curtains, even a power outlet was dotted in some sort of brownish stuff. Now, I have no clue if this was actually unsanitary or merely rundown/old but still: Thanks, but no thanks.
the windows are bad, you hear everything from the street
