Score from 731 reviews Very good
Good location, very clean and very friendly staff.
The tram and traffic passed very close to the window. The family room was not very spacious.
- central location - nice staff
- no wifi at the last floor - heating off at the arrival - mattress without coveress - really bad breakfast
The staff was very friendly. Location was excellent in one of the finest parts of The Hague (Zeeheldenkwartier), close to the center, museums, Vredespaleis and the beach in Scheveningen,
The room was way too small. The bed.
In room 27 there was a smell of food.
Friendly welcome from the host, spacious room with a bath, free mini fridge for your own stuff, decent tourist book about the Hague in hotel room. No breakfast necessary, there are countless nice lunchrooms in a nearby street.
Some noise from the bar at the opposite side of the street.
Excellent value for money. Quiet at night. Decent and not expensive breakfast. Within walking distance to the center of the city. Nice size room with free wifi. The lady at the reception was very nice at my late arrival. She made me feel very welcome.
It was very cold in the breakfast room, but it was indeed a very cold day and a hot tea helped against the cold.
Calm, large room, breakfast, easytub to reach the center by tram
Price a little bit too high
The breakfast was excellent! Friendly staff. My room was upgraded so I had a double bed and a bath on the top floor. Very comfortable and good sized room. I LOVE that they employ the policy of 'dirty towels on floor and towels you wish to reuse on hooks'. This should be compulsory in all hotels!!
Steep stairs.. Actually weren't as bad as a hotel I stayed in in Holland. And here they offered to help with my bag.
Bed too soft.
The staff was very welcoming and our room was nice. I enjoyed the bath in our bedroom, and the bed that was 180cm. Very nice location, a short tramride or 15min walk fromthe centre, but a 5 min walk to the peace palace.
The tv in our roomwas tiny.
Friendly staff, great location, clean, good breakfast ;-)
Rooms were not heated at all though it was very cold at the time. It took a while for the room to be warm enough to be confortable. Make sure you ask them to heat the rooms before you arrive ;-)
20 minute walk to city center. Easy access to public transportation. Very nice staff.
Not many restaurants nearby, no shopping. Breakfast was average but only option in the area.
Good, clean hotel with helpful staff
I missed a small fridge in the room
First, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was a spacious family room with a nice terrace. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel (which looked like a standard hotel breakfast) because there are many wonderful cafés and restaurants nearby. The hotel is on a tram line.
The pillows were lumpy.
Tram ride or walk to city center. Helpful staff. Clean, spacious room Free WiFi Nice breakfast
The location, the building, the bed: all OK. Good wifi reception too.
The street (with a tram running every few minutes till after midnight) is a bit noisy, so the windows on the street were sealed. The bathroom had a courtyard window, though, so fresh air was available. Therefore, to have a noisy ventilator in the bathroom wasn’t so useful; to have it on 24/24, with no possibility to switch it off, is a waste, and annoying at night. The staff was friendly and tried to do something about it; but there was no way.
Very clean, very good breakfast, staff are very gentle and helpful, WIFI works perfectly well ad value for money. Definitely will recommend it
Although small, the room had everything you might need for a short stay including ample closet space. We booked a room with direct access to the garden so it was possible to step outside for some fresh air. Loved the bathroom, again small but modern and compact. Great shower and an eco-friendly all in one shower/ shampoo gel provided, that was a really nice touch!
We were a bit late checking out because we went to say goodbye to my niece and her family who were leaving Holland a bit earlier than we were and we didn't realise that the check-out time was 11 am. When we got back to the hotel at around 12 noon, we asked for half an hour to get our things together and vacate the room. We were grudgingly given the additional time requested but all in all the front desk could have been a bit more gracious about the matter. Still, it all ended on a good note.
Location, staff, rooms ,
If u don't like this hotel then it's you that's not good not the hotel.
Parking offered, breakfast included, close to a tram stop, 5 minutes to centrum. 4 person family room was spacious.
Excelent and helpfull staff, great breakfast for fair price, nice comfortable room and bed
Missing elevator, bigger and complicated walk distance from the centre. Although is it possible easy reach by tram, but is it not quite cheap - 3€ per one hour, resp 6,50 per day.
city center location
very small room slow speed WiFi internet access no fridge
large rooms with ridiculously small bathroom. impossible to us the sink other than to wash your hands. impractical to use the the toilet unless you are a contortionist as the sink is in the way, shower screen was falling apart. room smelt of urine, the beds looked like a cat or dog had been sleeping on it .
Very central, a home away from home! Breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.
