Hotel Seven One Seven is in a historic building along the Prinsengracht Canal, in the heart of Amsterdam. There is a quiet city patio and free Wi-Fi. The hotel features an all-in formula including breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks from the minibar and a selection of wines. The rooms and suites have box-spring beds and adjustable heating and air conditioning. Breakfast is served in your room, in the bright breakfast area or on the patio during summer. There is a library where you can smoke and you can book in-room spa treatments to relax. The Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are a 10-minute walk from Seven One Seven. Good location, nice design unfriendly stuff and a strange hotel policy - not to change the room even inspite the lack of heating in the room in cold February. Poor breakfast. The absence of a concierge...

Excellent service, lovely house, very cosy and personal. Great location. High class hotel. Sabine, the assistant manager, is extremely nice and helpful and so are the rest of the staff.

My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay at 717. Our suite - Van Goethe - was spacious and comfortable and elegantly decorated. The only downside was the steep staircase leading to our room but the staff were helpful in assisting us with our bags and were also happy to bring tea and biscuits on a tray at our convenience. Breakfast was also offered in the Stravinsky Room which was light and airy. The warm croissants and bread rolls were delicious and the boiled eggs were perfect. The public spaces were delightful - exquisite decor and the gentle strains of classical music. This is a quiet hotel. Definitely not suited for raucous stag night parties! It was a lovely place to bring my young daughter. She particularly enjoyed the Dutch biscuits served with drinks on request! I had a problem accessing the Internet late at night. The hotel provides a password to access their free wifi service but the system had stalled. The assistant manager assured me that there is a 24hr reception service, so theoretically I could gave called down and asked for a reset! As mentioned, the stairs here are narrow and a little rickety. The house is listed so an elevator isn't possible. Guests with mobility issues should be aware of this.

отель очень красивый. большие, красиво оформленные номера, персонал отеля приветлив, дружелюбен, завтраки чудесные. завтрак и чай-кофе включены в стоимость, бесплатный wi-fi. месторасположение отеля очень удобное, все очень близко, при этом совершенно не шумно.

Service, vriendelijkheid, sfeer, locatie. Er was maar 1 minpunt: het ontbijt. Er was iets misgegaan, waardoor één persoon zowel de bediening moest doen als de eieren naar wens bakken, broodjes afbakken etc. Doordat dit duidelijk ook niet zijn vak was, duurde het een uur (!) voordat het ontbijt compleet op onze tafel stond (wat zelfs onder die omstandigheden met 4 tafels niet nodig zou hoeven zijn, maar goed). Ons werd wel verteld dat dit normaliter anders verloopt, maar dit moet je als hotel van deze klasse waar alles verder perfect was niet willen: laat een professional alles bereiden (ook al is het "maar" een ontbijt) en iemand anders uitserveren en de ontbijters verder van dienst zijn.

Sa situation géographique centrale, son service très personnalisé et attentif, le confort des chambres et leur décoration particulière, son côté cosy, un magnifique petit déjeuner qui peut être servi dans la chambre. Le fait de devoir sonner à chaque fois pour rentrer dans l'établissement. Et parfois le manque d'insonorisation entre les chambres contiguës.
