Right next to the Koepelkerk, this quiet hotel is in 3 renovated 17th-century houses on the Singel Canal. Amsterdam Central Station is 650 ft away. A simple continental breakfast is served each morning at Singel Hotel. Many cafés and restaurants can be found on the lively Haarlemmerstraat or in the Jordaan neighborhood, both a 5-minute walk away. The modern rooms have private bathrooms with hairdryers and a free in-room safe. Quite unique for the historic houses in Amsterdam, the hotel has an elevator. A 24-hour front desk and baggage storage are available. Hotel Singel can provide rental cars, and give advice on city tours. A public parking garage is about 1300 ft away. Excelent location. I asked for a room facing the canal. Instead, I got one double form the individual price, as the canal rooms were already booked. Bathroom is new and OK. Continental breakfast is on the average, fine. The lift is a real added value when you know how stairs use to be in most Amsterdam buildings. Hotel location makes all central Amsterdam reachable by walking. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended.

Very nice place. Bulding from XVII century, No refrigerator in the room. But not a problem - if you only sleep in a room :) Near the water-chanel. Placed in the center of the city, 5 min walk from Centraal Station.

The hotel is next to the center, rooms are cleaned well, very comfortable beds, nice breakfast in the morning, good security! There is the elevator (very are are in Amsterdam) The rooms are little, but that is normal in amsterdam.

Kind staff, great location because it's central (300-400 walking mt from railway central station and subway, no need to take taxis) but very quiet, even if it's a few hunderd meters from center and boom boom zone, recommended Sealed windows & fan not working however room air was good

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. I had a lovely room on the roof. The personnel was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Everything operated properly.

Excellent location, staff, breakfasts. Not very large room for 3 people, but quiet comfortable. The only minus was the noise of vacuum cleaner at 9 or 10 o"clock on the 1st of January)))).

It is in a great location - 5minutes walk from Centraal Train Station and also the main shopping street so easy to get there and about. It's situated on a quiet canal so you don't have any traffic noise at night. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are sufficient - not huge, but we didn't spend much time in the room! The breakfast is good, although recommend getting in early as all the good food goes quick! Overall a pleasant hotel, if a little overpriced! It was a little expensive for what we got, although Amsterdam is a relatively expensive city (expecially if you want to be central).

I liked a lot the room view, i booked the room with the channel view and it was worth.The room is small, cozy, was very warm which was great as the weather outside wasn't very friendly.Beakfast was basic and very tasty, everything was fresh and good quality, the hotel's team very kind and helpful.The location is also great, near the central station, close to all the touristic attractions an easy to find it on the map.I think Singel is going to be my hotel every time when i will be back in Amsterdam.

The location of the hotel is excellent! There was calm in the night time. The room was cleen and just renovated. In the bathroom is no water run-off enclosure on the floor, so that the hair should be dried after a shower while standing in water.

I liked everything.Very good lokation on quiet street close to rail station,public transport stops,shops,pubs and restorans.Dam square,Flowers market,Red light district and China quarter on the walking distance. Very frendly and helpfull hotel staff. Room was clean and nice,room servise everyday.Single room has double bad(room numb.22).Not noisy. Good breakfast. Next time when I will go to Amsterdam I will stay in this hotel again. Poor wi-fi in room(numb.22)
