Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater.

Location is excellent. Very close to the station and 5 min walk from dam square and RLD. Anne frank is 5-10 mins away. Excellent staff, provided help and a map. Also recommended areas to go to. Breakfast was continental, plenty to eat. Double bed was big and really comfortable. Room was clean, but expect small bathroom. However this was not a problem for us. I would definitely stay here again! Definitely affordable and worth it, especially as breakfast is included! Thank you!
There was no kettle in room, this was not a major problem however, it would have been an added bonus!
Pleasant staff and nice room. Very good value for the money.
Nice location by a canal 10 minutes walk from the railway station and city centre. Peaceful environment. Good breakfast. Nice personnel. Big bed. The room was not heated at arrival but warmed up fast after the radiator had been put on.
The water from the shower made the bathroom floor wet. The bed was ok but the pillow was too high and of feathers. Noisy neighbours in the corridor can be heard very easily.
Would highly recommend.
Room a bit small but then again we had an 8 month old and her travel bed.
Location. Its near to everywhere...station, museums,nightlife.... Perfect if you have an early flight. Cordial and nice staff.
Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, they did their best to ensure us a great stay with their reccommendations, specially Janet Perfect location I'll be definitely recommed and be back to the Singel Hotel
the back view of our room
Close to station, and easy to find. Arrived late and was well received at reception. The TV remote was missing in my room, they arranged one very quickly. Single room is very small, but once I had settled in was warm and cosy.
Thin walls, squeeky doors and constant elevator noises
The whole area surrounding the Singel canal is fantastic. More like a village in a city and i had a great time exploring it (much better then the red light district) Some great coffee shops and bars in the area, i highly recommend this side of Amsterdam
Room was in the basement and was very hot, even with windows open. I would be wary about staying there in the summer for this reason.
The hotel was very well situated. An easy walk to the main railway station, but on the doorstep of the beautiful Jordaan district. The breakfast was excellent and included in my already reasonably priced room rate.
The experience with staff, was mostly positive, though the person checking me in could have done with a little better sense of humour, but then she wasn't Dutch and came from a part of Europe where people aren't known for being particularly good humoured - I'll leave it at that. She also didn't seem to know as much about the hotel as I would have expected. But everyone else I dealt with were super - friendly, pleasant and knew their stuff. My room was tiny but that was made clear when I booked it and I got a very good price for that reason, so this really isn't a complaint.
The location is very good, close to station, and walking distance to many places.
The staff are rude, bed was springy and one kept rolling to the middle. The toilet on our last day was not working. And I found out the entire floor was being maintained which I was not told about. The heating didn't work for the first few nights (and it was January when we were there. This hotel should be a last option.
Comfortable room in city center with delicious complimentary breakfast. Great value for the price!
Neighbouring rooms can be noisy.
Very friendly staff, generous continental free breakfast, amazing location.

Price and location
Excellent location, affordable, good continental breakfast. Very functional
I always prefer places with a bathtub.
Walking distance to Centraal Station and sights, room and toilet are great, breakfast too. Staff, Bas, was helpful and prepared breakfast really early
Good hotel, small but well located, breakfast could be better but you're close to everything, specially the train station which is helpful when you have a flight early or late.
Attractions are within walking distance. Central train station is not far. People at reception very helpful especially Sebastian. Good value for money.
Room needs more soundproofing.
Good location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and good breakfast.
The hotel was what expected for the price: small but with everything you need. Location was perfect for what I needed - close to the train station and walking distance from centrum and the main tram stops. Super friendly staff.
The only down point is the room was quite small, specially the bathroom. Ok for single travellers or couples for a few days.
Lovely little hotel on singel. Cheap for a 3star. Really nice staff and the beds are lovely and comfy.
Rooms could have been cleaner but it was good enough.
Staff were very friendly, room was excellent for my daughters and I. We had a great view over looking the canal, fantastic as I'd asked for a special room when I'd booked, as this was a Christmas present. Beds were very comfy and great blackout curtains.
Harder to get a table for 3 for breakfast.
Location was great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, extremely polite, the room was comfortable and warm.
