The location and the room itself with it's small balcony. The mattresses were a little soft for our liking. But not a big deal. |

Service was excellent. Extremely nice staff. We were offered an apartment instead of two rooms, for the same price. The apartment was decent and comfortable, in a superb location. Excellent, excellent service! The apartment was clean, but they left some trash which smelled quite terrible. Once we took it out, everything was ok. |

I like that Sipermann is located in the city center, so you can get everywhere by feet. Manager was very friendly and showed me interesting locations on the map of Amsterdam and gave tourist city guide. There is also free WiFi. |

Great location, but the room only barely about hostel standards and 2x the price. Tiny with lumpy bed. Lumpy bed, could have newer mattress & bed linens. |

Good quite location near the park. Smoking rooms. Single room small but not that bad for the price Very clean rooms with private facilities Most city trams don't go this way - but hey it is a nice area. Staff respectful but illusive. Be warned if you want to visit the city centre then be prepared to walk. 5% charge for using credit cards is a bit excessive Not breakfast available in the area |

Courteous staff and clean rooms with shower. Location also very good. The televisions do not work, there is not even a pay phone, and no email. He also serves no breakfast. |

The hotel is at a walking distance from many sites and attractions, and is located on a beautiful street. Tram line 1 (and also 2 and 5 if you don't mind a 5-minute walk) convniently connects it with the Dam area. The room was cosy and had a great view. The service was very corteous and we got everything we needed. The bed was short (about 180 cm) and too soft, although I guess the upper mattress can be removed (we did not bother so much as to ask). The room was small and there was not enough storage space. |

The hotel staff were very nice. Nice area, safe. This hotel is fairly average for the price, the room was very small (although bathroom was big) and basic but considering this was the cheapest place I could find for my stay it was suitable. |

The location is very good, the room was very clean and the gentleman always had a smile! The bed was far too soft, the noise is too much ( I had to buy earplugs) and the smell of the families cooking (indian) spreads through out the hotel which can be both irritating and nice depending on the time of day. Oh and please put the tv on a swivel bracket cos you can't watch it in bed the LCD screen is not made to be viewed that way. Many thanks |

The owner was very courteous and helpful. While the room was rather small for four people it met our needs well as we didn't spend much time in the room. The mattresses were incredibly soft, which could be good or bad. The soft mattress felt particularly good after indulging in some of the activities that Amsterdam has to offer. There were some minor issues with cleanliness such as a stained sheet and a crusty stain one one of the blankets, but it was easy to remove those from the bed. The stairs are rather steep but you will find that anywhere in Amsterdam. |

I liked the fact that we were not rousted to early out of bed. Also that there was no curfew and the room was smoking. The beds could have been more comfortable slid out a couple of times |

We went for the apartment on Leidseplein and it was all good. Perfect location, large room with TV, fridge/freezer and a microwave. Smoking was permitted and we were also happy to find a lot of leftover candy from the previous guests (this is a good thing when you've got the munchies). Lack of wifi in the apartments. This was in the description though so we were fully aware of that when we chose the place. |

Excellent location, ultra friendly staff, good rate. Super value for money overall I knew that this particular room was part of an apartment and not in the actual hotel building. This unfortunately meant that our room was not cleaned not even once throughout our stay. It wasn't so clean to start with anyway. |

We stayed in a small room with twin beds. We had a TV with cable, which was really fun for us, as well as a private bathroom. It was clean and quiet. |
