Don't judge by the outside!! I stayed in a three room and although it was tight the room was extremely clean and modern. The bathroom was relatively new and very clean. The location- it was quite a way out of the centre but there are tram and bus links right outside.

The hotel rooms were nice and updated. It's outside of central Amsterdam, but very close by bus or tram, and they go direct to the main parts you will visit. The staff was very friendly, breakfast fairly good, had no complaints. The hallways and lobby seems dated, so I was surprised the rooms were as nice as they were. Wi-Fi didn't work well in the room, but they have a lounge on the first floor with computers and the Wi-Fi worked fine there. The only thing negative I can say, is that there is nothing around the hotel. A couple restaurants (which I recommend you avoid for cost and quality) is the only thing within walking distance. You have to take a bus or the tram, but this is easily done.

It is a pretty good hotel, with the staff quite well prepared. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Part of the rooms are a bit noisy because of the bar under the windows and there is no air conditioning neither a small refrigerator, that will allow the travellers to have any cold drink inside the room. The hotel it is quite expensive.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, cheap and cheerful! Although its location is a little out of the way, the public transport facilities for getting you into the centre are excellent and cheap. This hotel is perfect for young travelers and backpackers and those people looking for a budget holiday. The down side to this hotel is that the staff could be a little grumpy and the breakfast wasn't great but for the money it was fine.

The rooms don`t actually look like those presented in the pictures. There is no internet connection that actually works. The view in the hotel is desolating.

The bathroom was clogged and it took them half an hour to fix it. However, it did not work after that. The hotel was really just a basic room, you get what you paid for. The room looks old and the staff was not even sure about breakfast time. They told us a wrong time and we missed the breakfast. The location is not that near to the centre but there are a number of buses and trams from directly outside the hotel to the centre, takes about 20 to 25 minutes

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One even made me tea when I came in from a night out, another rang the taxi my friend was in to mak sure she was getting to her train on time (she had left a bit late). The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is a bit out from the town but the 14 tram and the 21 bus stop right outside the hotel and take you to the Dam square. It is a great hotel for students and young people but would not recommend it to people who want more relaxation or luxury. The breakfast is just cold meats, cheese bread and cereal. The hotel is around 20mins by tram or bus to the city. There was a strange smell in the corridor.

The man at the reception counter was very polite, helpful and co- operative. The girl at reception did not know how to behave and talk with guests. Internet was not accessible entire the hotel and after checking in when I said the problem to her, she replied "you did not say you want internet and now we can not change the room untill tomorrow" ..... Oh God ..... what is this ???!!!! this means at the time of checking you should say "I want pillow and blanket". If not they give you a room without a bed also !!!!! the more important thing is the receptionist evenif wants to say "no" must know how to say that. One can say "no" but politely and convinceble and acceptable, and can say yes but rudely. This case was learnt to say "no" and say this rudely and impolitely.

The grand style of the lobby gives a great first impression. I even liked the long corridor to get to our room; it gave a sense of surrealism. The room itself was fantastic, it had everything provided and more. The bed was luxurious and the shower was amazing!! The breakfast was a typical continental style and there was enough choice to fill up for the day. Would deffinately stay here again. The very few negatives; the remote had no batteries... So we used the tv itself to change channel. The location; as most other people have said; is a distance. Although it's not as bad as people make out. The number 21 bus or the 7 and 14 trams will get you to 'Plein 40 45' no problem.

Good day. The hotel was adequate and met all our requirements and expectations for a hotel in that price range. Although a way from the City the public transport was a blessing and made the commute very easy I will recomend the hotel to friends and family Nothing really to complain about

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean. I was able to access free internet in my room. This is a very important plus for me. Breakfast was included. City Center was a reasonable tram trip away. My room was a bit noisy in the evening. Ear plugs helped.
