Solskin means sunshine in Danish - an appropriate name for a hotel in a place with a higher number of sun hours than most of the Netherlands. The maritime restaurant of Solskin offers a sublime French-Dutch cuisine. From behind the glass-protected terrace or other window-side sitting areas you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Scheldemonding. For a change of view, follow the boulevard to the end where you’ll reach the lovely nature reserve the Nollebos – an inviting location for cycling and walking. Great location on the sea front. Superb food at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Vlissingen a great place to wander about with a good selection of restaurants and cafe bars plus all things nautical.

We had the penthouse (4 sharing) which was perfectly suited. The view of the beach front was excellent and the passing shipping was mesmerising! 3 flights of very steep and twisty stairs (yeah I know, it's Holland but even so....)

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Solskin hotel, It was a chance choice but very good. It was great to have a room overlooking the sea and shipping.We will recommend this hotel to our family when they visit Vlissingen.

The room had a lovely view and we liked the little balcony area. The bed was situated in a very narrow part of the room with no space on either side. We had to climb in from the bottom of the bed which is not easy when you are in your 70'S. The bedding sheets were made from synthetic fibre which is not comfortable.

Staff were very friendly, English speaking, helpfull. Room was well equiped and clean comfortable and warm and quiet. Resturant served great food that was well presented and tasted lovely at a reasonable price, We both enjoyed our one evening stay here!

Nice room, Very good food, the staff very friendly. I looked for a hotel in Bruskin this one is said to be 3 miles away!!in vislinger. yes by water as the crow flights. and 38 miles by toll rd in a tunnel 6.6 miles long that cast 4.9 euros.

Kamer met zeezicht op 1e verdieping. Serre met zitje was zeer aangenaam, zicht op de boulevard en zee met grote zeeschepen. Schuifraam kon helemaal open. Ruime zeer schone badkamer. weinig parkeerplaatsen

Het is een mooi en net hotel, met een vriendelijke eigenaar en vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was mooi en proper. Het eten was van prima kwaliteit en de bedden waren ook goed. Kortom een fijn hotel om aan te bevelen en waar wij zeker nog eens terug gaan. De ligging is ook goed.

De ligging was perfect, lekker de straat oversteken en dan bijna in de zee staan, heerlijk! Personeel was erg vriendelijk, goed ontbijt Ik vind het op de kamer vrij gehorig, als andere mensen de trap opkwamen. Het toilet was niet schoon en er zaten nog haren op de tegels van de douche

Die geniale Lage, direkt am Meer und der gigantische Meerblick, den man in Holland selten hat. Jeder Tag Kino mit den vorbeifahrenden großen Schiffen. Im Badezimmer ist die Heizung ausgefallen, die nicht repariert wurde. Das ist für diese Jahreszeit einfach zu kalt im Zimmer und gerade im Bad. Außerdem gibt es keine Ablagemöglichkeiten.

Hotel absolut o.k. Spitzenlage am Boulevard,aber nur interessant mit Zimmer zum Meer (Schelde ) hin Restaurant nicht ausprobiert wegen überzogener Preisgestaltung,sollte man mal überdenken !!!!.....in Anbetracht vieler naheliegender, auch sehr guter, Restaurants.

Zimmer mit Meerblick unbedingt buchen.Sehr geräumige Zimmer mit großem Badezimmer.Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut. Bevor man einen Parkschein für die Dauer seines Aufenthalts löst (1,80€/Std.) zur Hotelrezeption gehen und sich einen Parkausweis erfragen.Der kostet gerade mal 2,50€ / Tag.

Wat wij heel leuk vonden was de loggia. Ondanks dat het koud was konden we toch van de zon genieten achte glas met de ramen open. Het ontbijt was goed maar weinig variatie. We hebben 5 dagen hetzelfde gekregen.
