Very friendly service, staff is very helpfull , big and comfortable rooms, cosy restaurant and a good breakfast as well. Perfect place to stay while visiting Amsterdam and surroundings as the trainstation is just across the hotel. I travelled with my friends from Seattle and they both were very excited as well about the hotel. Still to mention..a very nice and cosy patio to sit outside. |

For me Hotel Stad en Land worked well because I was on a business trip and it was across from the central rail station and an easy walk to down town of Alkmaar. The stafff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. |

Staff at the Hotel Stad en Land were all very friendly. Check in was very quick and I was shown to my room and facilities were explained. As you might expect with a small hotel, the breakfast choice is not extensive but there is plenty of coffee and a nice selection of bread, cheese, ham, boiled eggs and cereals. |

The proximity to Alkmaar Station was very attractive to me as I had several bags to carry. The lighting in the room was not such that you could easily read after the hours of dark. In particular the bedside lights had a pink glow, rather than daylight. |

rooms were very good, and staff very welcoming perhaps a bit more choice at breakfast, particularly in the bread/rolls selection, and larger teacups |

It was well situated for all amenities and the staff were friendly and it was clean and the breakfast even though being a continental one was plentiful. |

Covienient location, across road from train station and only 45 mins from Schipol Airport. The hotel suited our needs for a one night stay, as we needed to travel into Heiloo, 5 mins from Alkmaar on the train. Although the hotel was clean, it is very basic and I would not recommend for a stay longer than a couple of nights. |

it was close enough to get to downtown fromt here - the breakfast was great! the rooms didn't have lighting in the washroom and there was no elevator There is also no real front desk so it's confusing when you come in |

Hotel De Palatijn is a very luxurious and comfortable accommodation. This four star hotel is situated near the ancient city center of Alkmaar, known as the cheese city of Holland. |
In the historical city centre, near to the traditional Waag, Cheese Market, shops, cathedral, theatres and museums. The beach is 10 kilometres away. Haarlem and Amsterdam are also nearby. |
Golden Tulip Alkmaar is a modern hotel and is perfectly situated in Alkmaar. The hotel is easy to reach by car (end of motorway A9). We offer enough free parking space. |
This brand-new, 4-star hotel is located in a historical building, in the heart of Alkmaar, where it provides tasteful design rooms with free Wi-Fi internet. |
