Stayokay Maastricht is situated on the banks of the Maas River, just a 5-minute walk from the center of the city of Maastricht. The large terrace provides a view of the water. The 300 year old beech tree in the middle of the building adds a special touch to the bright colored interior. After a busy day, you can play pool and Nintendo Wii or relax in the reading area. The hostel offers separate beds in a dorm and double rooms for more privacy and with private facilities. Some rooms have river views. Both Maastricht Central Station and the Onze Lieve Vrouweplein are within walking distance of Stayokay Maastricht. Hotel Rooms: 38, Hotel Chain: Stayokay.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of the city centre (couple of minutes) I was very disappointed to learn that this was a hostel instead of a hotel. We didn't get a proper bed for two persons and we had to create our own 'bed' from mattresses of bunk beds (because it was a 6 person dorm).

We have 3 people to live in the "Bed in 4-Bed Dormitory Room". In such situation, I think it's quite good. Besides, the room and facilities are good, clean, cozy.

Good location. 24 hr front desk / door access. Breakfast. Staff friendliness (reception desk and restaurant). Free WiFi. Cleanliness of beds/mattresses. Heating in the rooms. Lack of space in the shower/bath area.

Room was cleaned everyday as well as the shower room and toilet. Wifi signal was weak in the rooms. It was hard to get reception. Had to go into the lobby to get a better reception.

The location to the MECC was good, just a short walk over the bridge! Its a nice building with a great river deck for eating and drinking. The cleanliness of the room, and comfort of the beds.

We appreciated the space downstairs,especially the terrace. Also the separate space for internet users, location was excellent and staff were always friendly and helpful. Having an ensuite shower and toilet is a bonus. Nothin to complain about

Good location - 10 minute walk to the centre of Maastricht. However, the cost of this hostel was too much for the service/standard of room and facilities when compared to the cost of similar hostels elsewhere Poor value for money. Room facilities no better than a hostel 1/3 of the price

Location is good and the breakfast is included in the room price If you book online a 4-bedroom, you may have a surprise to be placed in a 6-7 bedroom once reaching the hostel. This happened to me twice. And you do not get back the difference in money for being placed in a cheaper type of accommodation. In general, sleeping is a real adventure in a fully occupied 6-7 bedroom (by the way, it is said that the room contain 6 beds but actually there are 7 beds inside).

Location was good Room was not clean. Sensor light came on when any noise was made in our room or the next room. Had to keep pressing the shower button every 45 seconds. Hire towel was like a hand towel.Breakfast had no fresh fruit.

Verybhandy for all things and great sun deck The rooms are not great as dorm rooms. 6 to a room is too much for the size and was not inclined to use the shower at all

other guests a bit noisy sometimes, and primitive... breakfast a bit late. wireless untill the room would be better, little seperation between beds and lavabo ( curtain) not to disturb other people with light in the mroning
