Stayokay Soest is an HI-hostel in the heart of the Netherlands, near Amersfoort. Set among woods and dunes and yet it is easy to reach. The perfect place for a few days of walking, biking, swimming, visiting palaces and museums, maybe a visit to the city: Stayokay Soest is the ideal home base for enjoying nature and culture.
Stayokay Soest offers plenty of comfort. The rooms are housed in a separate wing and all feature private bathrooms. The main hall is the place to meet fellow guests for sharing stories about your adventures or relax in the bar and restaurant, enjoy the reading table or kick back in the TV room.
Outside Stayokay Soest has a number of sports and playing fields, a picnic area and camp fire pits. The hostel has different sport and game equipment.

Hotel information

Eventhough Stayokay Soest accommodates your stay for one night or longer whether you’re alone, with friends or with your family, we also offer the opportunity for groups to stay with us for one day. The building and it’s surroundings are perfect for activities such as meetings, day (or longer) trainings, music rehearsals and other fun get togethers such as (wedding) receptions, (family) reunions or (birthday) parties. The hostel has several rooms suitable for any number of people from 10 to 180. A bar with a broad assortment of (alcoholic) drinks completes the picture.

The hostel personnel are open to your ideas on organization. We are also happy to share our ideas in planning your meeting in Stayokay Soest.
Audio-visual aids are present. The hostel staff are tuned into welcoming groups; from primary schools to universities and other (educative) meetings. The hostel staff are willing and able to make a suitable programme on request. Special rates apply for groups.

Food & beverage

There is a lunch buffet available, as well as packed lunches and a 3-course dinner. The 3- course dinner is a meal-of-the-day. If you have any special (e.g. dietary or vegetarian) needs they will be taken into account.

The kitchen staff will also be happy to arrange special meals upon request, such as a tropical buffet or barbecue.

Room information

Classified as an ANWB 5-star facility, Stayokay Soest offers everything you need. Each room, whether dormitory or private, has it's own sanitary facilities. As well as bunk beds the rooms also have cupboards, tables and chairs. Accommodations include single, twin, triple and quadruple rooms as well as 5, 6, 7 bed rooms and a 10 bed dormitory.

Hostelling International, Stayokay and NIVON members receive a EUR 2.50 discount per night and can take advantage of the many special offers and FreeNites loyalty program.

Important information

Please note when booking a Double/Twin Room, it is possible that you will be staying in a 4 to 6 bed dorm. The remaining (bunk) beds will not be available for other guests.

Upon arrival, guests will receive bed linens. Towels are available for a fee.

Internet desks are available to plug in their own notebook or smart phone. Computers are also available.

Prachtige omgeving waarbij ook het kleine speeltuintje en het kampvuur 's avonds door de kinderen erg werd gewaardeerd. Het eten smaakte heerlijk en er was ook voor onze kinderen meer dan voldoende keuze bij het dinerbuffet. De kamers zijn eenvoudig en hebben stapelbedden maar dat is voor ons geen probleem want we wisten het van tevoren. We hadden mazzel met het weer en hebben een lange wandeltocht gemaakt door de Soesterduinen. De tweede dag hebben we fietsen gehuurd bij het stayokay. We vonden het echt top vooral voor deze prijzen Er was ons niet gezegd dat we zelf handdoeken mee moesten nemen dus dat was even schrikken. El desayuno incluido en el precio. Todo el personal muy agradable y servicial, excepto una chica (j), tan borde, que hace que la puntuacion no sea 10. Internet no funcionaba.
