All older children or adults are charged EUR 29.50 per night and person for extra beds.

Any extra bedding is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

If the weather is nice, breakfast is served outside on the terrace.
De Swarte Ruijter is situated in the middle of an extensive natural park, bordering directly on the Pieterpad - the longest and best known hiking trail of the Netherlands. Our hotel is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours. We can provide you with maps, bicycles and picnic baskets. If you want to bring your own bicycle, you can park it in our bicycle shed.
At walking distance from De Swarte Ruijter you will find Natuurdiorama De Holterberg. This museum offers a good idea of the life of animals who found their habitat in the hills of the Salland region.
Nearby De Swarte Ruijter you can find:
- five 18-holes golfcourses.
- Deventer en Zutphen, two Hanseatic towns.
- several castles and castle gardens.
We are happy to help you organise gamespotting tours under the guidance of a forester, "klootschieten" (traditional Dutch version of petanque), archery, survivaltrails etc.

A really beautiful area but not a place with a good view.Staff were helpful but the restaurant was for my liking quite expensive.Apart from that - certainly i would be happy to spend a few more days there,a very relaxing place. The only problem i found were the ladybirds(Harlequin ladybirds or the American version)they want to find a warm nesting place and the hotel being in the woods is an ideal place when the windows or doors are open, can be quite annoying .......but are'nt all Americans? |

Mooie locatie, rustige omgeving en leuke inrichting van kamers. We zijn laat aangekomen en vroeg vertrokken dus hebben niet kunnen genieten van de mogelijkheden. Omdat het openslaande deuren zijn op de begane grond kon je niet lekker de ramen openzetten, dat vond ik wel jammer. |

Hotel heel sfeervol en schitterend gelegen. Vriendelijke bediening en een uitstekende keuken. Het lukte maar niet om op de televisie op de hotelkamer de gangbare Ned. tv-zenders in te stellen. |

Diner was perfect van kwaliteit en zeer aangenaam geprijsd met een 3 tal gangen voor 33 euro pp Maken van de rekening duurde erg lang, verkeerde naam in systeem en daardoor kon er geen juiste factuur gemaakt worden, al met al bijna half uur geduld moeten hebben en dat als je in de ochtend om 07.00 uur weg moet is vervelend. |

Prachtige en rustige omgeving. Heerlijk om met de mountainbike het bos in te gaan. Mooi en kleinschalig hotel met een uitstekend restaurant (en wijnkaart!) waar bij mooi weer op een heerlijk terras kan worden genoten. |

De uitstraling, de rust, en de houding van het bedienend en schoonmaakpersoneel waren helemaal ok Het zogenaamde 2-persoonsbed (waarom gevraagd) bleek geen echt 2-persoonsbed, maar 2 losse bedden met een matrasje erop. Dat beviel niet echt. |

vriendelijke meisjes bij het ontbijt. Keurig gebeld toen ik wat vergeten was op de kamer. mooi modern interieur passend bij een klassiek rietgedekt gebouw. Goede kamers en heerlijk eten. niet leuk om, zonder informatie over de prijs, een veel duurdere wijn aangeraden te krijgen en daar pas 's ochtends achter te komen. Een minnetje! Het eten is stijf aan de prijs,maar uitstekend gemaakt. |
