Great hotel, stayed there for 4 nights and I don't have any complain. We arrived to the hotel 3 hours before the check-in specified in the site and the room was ready. Elizabeth, the owner is very kind and helps the guests with everything. What I liked most in the hotel is the fact he is small and doesn't charge extras for every little thing (e.g. we needed a printer for a few documents, water in the mini bar etc.) |

We really appreciated the total peace and quiet in the room despite being in the centre of Amsterdam. We received a warm welcome even a little bottle of Prosecco brought to us by the lady of the house. Everything was tastefully done with special touches in the decoration. The shower was wonderful. Comfortable cosy and of high quality. A little hideaway right in the city. |

We felt really welcome - thanks for the hostess Elisabeth! The room was very nice and the breakfast in the garden was superb. The location of the Synopsis was excellent - in the city but in a very quiet area. |

The room with the garden was romantic and very clean and pleasant. The breakfast excellent. The lady Elisabeth de Witte, owner of the hotel, is very kind and a lot of disponible with her suggestions. She speaks, among the other languages, also the spanish, so for us italian was easy to her understand. The location is very good to visit the city and, at the same time, quiet to rest. |

The location of the Synopsis is excellent. Opposite the new Hermitage museum and close to the Amstel River. Elizabeth is an excellent host. Our room overlooked the garden and was quiet, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfasts offered a good choice. |

Elisabeth welcomes you to her elegant small hotel with graciousness & warmth and does all she can to make sure your stay in Amsterdam is an enjoyable one. The location is excellent -- in a lovely residential area & accessible to good public transit. Synopsis is also right across the street from the new Hermitage museum that will open this summer. Highly recommended. |

The owner Ms. de Witte made us feel completely at home. She guided us to restaurants that fit our budget and checked prices for tours outside the city and showed us how to do them with public transportation at less than half the cost. Although this was her home as well as her business she never hovered and was always gracious and helpful in our visits around the city. Everything was wonderful. |

This very small "hotel" (only three rooms) has an intimate, family ambience, where one can enjoy breakfast in the kitchen with the owner/proprietress. I wanted a quiet room, and the upstairs courtyard room where I stayed could not have been quieter. The location is excellent, opposite the Hermitage and near the opera house. I recommend it enthusiastically. |

Petite maison d'hôte très bien placée, à la fois très centrale et tranquille. Notre chambre (sur patio) était impeccablement propre, aménagée avec goût, et silencieuse. Le petit-déjeuner délicieux, et la propriétaire à la fois très sympathique et de bon conseil. |

Ce petit hôtel de charme réunit toutes les qualités du genre : discret, très calme (chants des oiseaux dans le jardin), architecture XVIIe préservée, confort intelligent (pas besoin de prendre son pc, il y en a un dans la chambre ; literie haut de gamme ; expresso Illy à libre disposition). Position idéale, face à l'Hermitage, à quelques minutes à pied (ou à vélo) du Dam ou des petits restos sympas conseillés par Madame DeWitte. Le rève, ponctué de gentilles attentions à l'arrivée et au départ ! Non, c'est définitivement 10/10. |

Hôtel assez bien situé à Amsterdam, 3 chambres seulement. En fait on vis chez la tenancière, qui occupe la 4e chambre mais ça n'est pas gênant car elle sait rester discrète. Chambres haut de gamme, tout est parfait, y compris le cadeau d'acceuil Prix un peu elevé : il faut encore ajouter 12;50 pour un petit déjeuner |

２００９年１０月上旬、First floor（２階）のCourtyard roomに夫婦で４泊。オーナーの女性が親切で、家の２階を客室にしてあったが、部屋にほとんど必要なもの- が用意されており、気配りが感じられた。部屋、浴室、洗面所とも清潔感優れる。メトロの駅に近く、スーパー- も近くにある。少し歩けば観光にも行ける閑静で安全な環境。 無線LANがひどく遅くなることがあった。木製の洋服箪笥が古いので、多少匂いが気になる。シャワーのみで- バスタブはない。大きなスーツケースを広げて出し入れするには（できるけれど）ちょっと手狭。階段が狭いの- で、重い荷物を持ち上げるのには力がいる。日本で言うなら民宿に相当するので、これくらいは悪い点というほ- どではありませんが、情報として提供します。 |

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war einfach super. Das Zimmer war einsame spitze, sehr sauber und groß. Die Hotelinhaberin hat uns persönlich begrüßt und über das Wochenende betreut. Sehr schönes und erholsames Wochenende. Nein gar nicht. War alles super |
