Proximity with the Town center Room comfortable Staff very cooperative
Very hard to find parking not too expensive for the car Need 3km by tram to reach the Olympic Stadion
The decoration of the room The facilities
The Stair The out side view of my room
The quirkiness of the rooms. Easy access to all major tourist sites and restaurants. Staff. were exceptionally polite, friendly and professional.
Nothing of import. As long as you realise that this was a traditional town house with all the usual associated problems.
Very clean room and extremely comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpfull.
No coffee kettle etc in room.
We like that the rooms are very clean. Location was great. Walking distance to supermarket, high-end brands and Van Gogh Museum.
The steep stairs at entrance. Walls are quite thin, could hear other guests walking in and out. Quite pricey.
Great location and breakfast was included and it was standard continental style.
Rooms are super small. Noise level very high. Could here the folks talking next to us. We can hardly walk into the room, you had to walk in side ways. My knees would touch the bathroom wall when sitting on the toilet. The management did not have our rooms ready, they issued them when we arrived. So we were separated from our family.
Great location walking distance to all the main attractions in Amsterdam and just around the corner from the van gough museum and ice rink. Comfy bed great shower and really helpful staff The rooms are very narrow like most in Amsterdam but it's fine if you expect it and they are clean and nicely decorated. Great selection of cold breakfast stuffs like Dutch cheeses, breads+spreads, yogurts etc.
Thin walls are not great. Hotel can be quite noises at night
20 minutes to dam square, but if you want to go by walk to red light district it's too far, about 35-40 minutes, good coffeshop bulldog in 5 minutes walk, rijksmuseum and van gohg in 1 minute walk. Valuable for this price, clean bright room, no insects, breakfast is poor, and equal every day, tram will get you to central station for 10 minutes, to my mind the most cheapest hotel for this stars and location, and it's good enoth for this!
The walls a little dirty (white color problem) no shops in 5 minute walk, all is closing at 6 pm, remember this, if you have not buy water by this time, you will drink from a sink :) cleaning everyday, but a bed changed once a week, really strange
Great big sized room that catered for us and our 13 yrold twins (so 2 extra beds) very nicely. Good wifi and comfy beds. Great breakfast included.
- Location of the Hotel is excellent - For some nights the price is really adequate and in good balance to the service and comfort offered, for others not
- Most bathrooms are inadequately designed, with the toilet allowing a comfortable sitting position only if you are not taller than about 175cm or so.
Though far from city center but can be managed with tram Acceptable breakfast
Extremely small rooms. Window sealings not good. Cool air coming in thru windows.
location is spot on. Literally next to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. The tram No 5 takes you right thru town up to Centraal station - so perfect. Tho its all walkable also.
The size of room was tiny. Unfortunately I was ill so spent one day confined to the room - so I may be a little bias. The breakfast is very missable.
Nice lighting and environment in hotel~
Elevator no really efficient...
Hotel is in a lovely area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice modern rooms.
Very steep stairs. But there is a lift so no probs. breakfast very continental. Limited snacks at the bar.
We liked the location as it was just around the corner from the Tram 5 and walking distance from Boat Taxi stop. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good.
Rooms far too tiny and writing on wall was half peeled off..should just be taken off completely. I emphasise...rooms were tiny. Much much smaller than they look on the photos.
good location, comfort beds, warm rooms, every day changing your Towels
little place for breakfast, not very clean in hotel, noizy.
Everything was perfect! Thank you!
location, breakfast was OK, clean rooms...
very steep stairs, the dining room was quite small, the room for four had one bed and two sofas instead of beds...
geen verluchting in de badkamer
Bed (triple room, kid sized bed). Breakfast quality
Really good location!
Little ventilation in the room - heat was unbearable. Opened the window but it didn't let any air in the room. Room was as described on the site - far too small for 3 people!
The location is good, the neighborhood is chic and close to museums and nightlife
We didn't like anything! The rooms are ridiculously small, the first room we had was vera dirty upon arrival. There were hairs all around the floor. We changed the room because there was a loop in the shower (the bathroom was flooded). The hotel is extremely noisy. You can not close an eye there, you hear everything form the corridors, the other rooms and reception. On top of everything there is a bar at the reception, so at 3 o'clock a.m. you enjoy the screams of the drunk and wasted guests of the hotel. The breakfast was very poor as well. The wifi is inexistent. In one sentence, choose another hotel in Amsterdam!
3 blocks from top 3 museums and my favorite cafe, Smart Talk. Great staff fully competent, fine English speakers. Quiet street, just around the corner from all the top elite labels I can't afford. Near trams, even direct from airport. Terrific special price.
Very bare, tiny room, not enough upper storage for all my toiletries in bath. No hooks in bath for robe, towels. Hallway needs new rug or cheery color, Black walls? There are steps from the street up to the entrance. Struggle for luggage, but doable.
The location is good and the WiFi is free. The room is the smallest room I have ever seen. It is very difficult to go in the room because there is no space to walk and hold a bag. The lift and the floor in the lift so...dirty!
The dirtiest reception I have ever seen...The carpet in front of the door is so dirty and old. There is a sofa and a small table near the reception which are so dirty...! Also the cupboards with the box files behind the reception desk have so much dust in.... The floor and everything around are so dirty. We stayed for three nights in the hotel and I think that they never mapped the floor of our room.
Comfortable bed. Helpful staff.
Tininess of the rooms.
