ART Hotel Rotterdam is in an impressive building with a stunning view of the harbor and the skyline of Rotterdam. Stay in one of the luxurious rooms and travel to the center of the city in 5 minutes.
Score from 1060 reviews Good
Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre provides free Wi-Fi and free entry to a swimming pool and is in a great location in the center of the city at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge, next to the River Maas.
Score from 1244 reviews Very good
The Parkhotel Den Haag is in the very heart of the city, bordering the gardens of the Royal Palace Noordeinde.

In the Oude Haven (Old Port) Rotterdam, the brand new citizenM Rotterdam is a stylish contemporary hotel which is right in the center with views of the city.
Score from 4132 reviews Wonderful
Very nice place to stay, basic, but very well situated.
Pillows are too big, causes head-ache.
The hotel should do more effort in terms of cleanliness.
The large room and the design
Very helpful staff and nice facilities. Best place to stay for solo travellers, great atmosphere
WiFi dropped off periodically for a second or two
Didn'n change our towels 4 days.
Room with a lot of space, modern bathroom. Reception is very friendly and helpful. I would come back if I need to stay again in Rotterdam.
It s a long way walking to the room. The light can only be handled at the front door not in sleeping room. There is no lock on the door. The tab of the shower is difficult to fix the hot water with. I had to take a hot shower which was burning hot.
free wifi location
overpriced small room, kitchen with no equipment (even no forks or a pan), the cleaner came 1h before the check out.
+ full-option hotel with free gym and a restaurant + many public spaces for study or work + spaces to play (darts, table tennis, etc.) + in walking distance from the centre (cubic houses, etc.) + large rooms + bath tub and really good, hot water + friendly staff and fast check-in/out
+ maybe the rooms were a little bit cold (18C on default, the fans only work while you are there, so you need to wait for a while until you get to 20C)
Clean and tidy
Great place to stay, very well connected to the center and full of young people. I really recommend you to stay there if you visit Rdam!
Friendly staff, prompt housekeeping and maintenance, new kitchen appliances, flexible check out times
No coffee machine, no cutlery or dishes in th kitchenette
Big room, confortable bed, tram stop in front of the building.
Staff not very well informed about the city facilities such as transfers to the airport and not very welcoming, they were just the minimum polite, at max. Bizarre way to the lift on the ground floor and too many doors.
We had a kitchen in our room which was very handy! Very comfortable bed. Amazing shower/bath! Nice Staff. Very secure hotel. Great vibe!
No onsite free parking. Everything had to be paid with your card. A little stuffy at night even with the window open.
Wifi connection good, free and design space. Near the tram, through blaak station only took 3 stops to here, and just next to the tram station. Even you can walk ten minutes to blaak. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is convenient and big.
Laundry is not easy to access, need a key and prepaid, and couldn't use credit card, it need local payment system. I spend at least 3 hours to make it work, but staff is helpful. The problem is the system of laundry.
We like the style of student hotel, it's perfect for young people! The atmosphere is cook, stuff always with smile :) we had a little bit complicated way to get to our room but in fact it was nice to go through all the hotel again and again:)
No option to pay by cash.
bikes were not available at the moment
Redoing the kitchen during our stay. Drilling noise from 7 in the morning ! The staff wasn't helpful at all with this matter : they couldn't change our room and they told us the noise would start at 9... We cancelled our second night...
as the school about to start, the hotel is filled with freshmen and exchanges. parties, loudness, not very clean. even worse, we encountered over-booking, which was not acceptable, but the staff simply threw 2 breakfast vouchers and asked, "so you're still not satisfied?" We'd prefer to staying the superior suite, instead of some minor room with the vouchers. the manner is not professional.
The Internet access, location that is near the school and some shops.
The bed is not good for the back. It sounds like a pit when lying.
+ The location is great..(close to the canals, surrounded by green, has a tram line just outside the door literally) + The room is comfortable..(depends on the type of room of course, but as a rule of thumb it's true most often than not) + Even though a lot of students live there, noise can be described as minimal - so a good night's sleep is close to granted. + Wi-Fi was great and free of charge.
- Cleanliness is a real issue. The sheets weren't changed on arrival (which is unacceptable) and the room as a whole wasn't properly cleaned beforehand. - The facilities inside the rooms weren't of high standards. Towels were nowhere to be found, toilet paper wasn't there, glasses/cutlery/minibar weren't there, so generally an obvious shortcoming. - The staff. Even though they are willing to help, it seems like they cannot do enough as far as requests are concerned and handled.
student athmosphere; location
long waiting time at reception desk, rather chaotic; restaurant rather expensive though advertised as cheap
The cleanliness and new facility are one of the 2 reasons to stay. The wifi is quite okay in lobby.
I'd stayed twice in this hotel, the 1st time was great. TSH R'dam expanded too fast to its staffs. The long queue of checking in and room arrangement (e.g. overbooking) and the attitude of the staff, which all in terms of quality, were decreased very much. Disappointed.
The fact that can use any cash to pay for your room. Even worse, you cant pay your food at their restaurant in cash!
The central location and that the tram stop where located very close to the hotel. If you wanted to wash your clothes you could do that whenever you wanted to, the washing machines were easy to find and the cost for using the washing machine and dryer was quite cheap.
That you had to turn off the air condition every time you left the room, so when you came back after having been out for a couple of hours the room was too hot because of the hot weather at the time of our stay. This problem was worsened by the fact that it was only possible to open the window a tiny bit. Some parts of the kitchen were really dirty/greasy; we had to clean some parts ourselves so our hands wouldn't get sticky when touching the surface of the sink/cupboard. The bathroom only has an overhead shower, no hand shower.
Value for money Very nice lobby Very nice and helpfull staff Nice bar
It is a bit further from the central zone, but quite close to the metro which is fine. The shower is not very practical because it has only a curtain to separate it from the rest of the bathroom and you end up with water everywhere if you don't pay attention. Also, since the shower cap is fixed, you cannot make a shower without washing your hair also.
