staff were very attentive and i was up graded to a suite! not much - some renevation work going on but they hid it well. |

rooms have been very well renovated with attention to quality fittings and use of space.the hotel is convenient to Spui and Spiegelstraat (something like that!) i strongly object to being charge for internet services in the room. there is no excuse for this other than as an easy "extra" to charge the guests.the bar was like a morgue and it should be relocated to the ground floor (where it used to be) - or at least a small one installed there |

its the best hotel in dam square, the room was beatiful especialy the decoration with lovely view. in the last day the house keeping entered my room even with do not disturb i dont no why. |

The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a Luxury Room and a Prestige Suite which was great. Would definitely stay at the hotel again. Kids loved the TVs at the end of the baths! Tiny roads crowded with pedestrians to get there and away again but hey, that's Amsterdam for you - thank goodness for GPS. Never did find the bar. |

Staff was friendly and comprehensive for complaints Room comfort and housekeeping were not good. Hotel restaurant was good but not equal to a 5tar hotel. |

they've charged from my credit card additional amount for "garanty that bar, breakfast etc would be payed after stay" as they explained. It was a very unpleasant surprise for me and spoiled my impression about the hotel at all. |

Top class I booked hotel because it stated that you provided transfer to airport on website I booked thur. I had to pay 47 euro's to get to airport. Not happy. |

Valetparking, badjassen en slippers, chocolaatjes en water, krantje aan de deur,geleende paraplu's van het hotel, koffers uit de auto gebracht op de kamer en bij het afreizen wederom in de auto gezet. Het tasje met de appels, water, chocola en een complimentscard in de auto. |

Van bij de aankomst heeft men het "verwend worden" gevoel en het mooie historische kader zorgt voor volledige ontspanning.Een heerlijke herbestemming voor bestaande gebouwen. Tot mijn spijt was het zwembad niet beschikbaar. Een zwembeurt in een "bevriend" hotel stelde ik niet op prijs om praktische redenen. Het zou toch welkom zijn dat het niet kunnen gebruiken van het eigen zwembad wel op de site zou vermeld staan. |
