The Thorbecke Hotel is a small hotel situated in the heart of Amsterdam city-center. All rooms are very well looked after.

The Thorbeckeplein is next to the Rembrandtplein and is surrounded by exclusive shopping areas, museums and galleries.

Near to the Thorbecke Hotel is the famous Thorbecke bar where the first drink is on us! Every Sunday there is a market showing and selling art right next to the hotel.
Please be aware that this hotel is located in the middle of a square with bars and clubs. This is not a quiet area!

Next to the hotel are 3 luxury newly build apartments available!

I didn't stay there - it was too dirty - It bore no resembelance to the website. I knew it was a basic hotel but I was led to beleve it would be better than it was.

The hotel location was very good and it's the main reason why I chose this accomodation. This place is fit for party-hunters who would like to spend a couple of nights clubbing but there's too noisy for a mature couple or a family with a child.

Mmm... I guess it's fit for youngsters but but bad for all the rest. The hotel is situated above a disco bar so it may be very noisy tonight. Though I spent this time outside so I didn't feel any discomfort and can't say for sure. Anyway all the bars in the Rembrandtplein square are closed by 5 am so a hotel guest has enough time to sleep before the check-out.

The room is too small and they make it big on the website. The last thing is there is no information from this hotel that they only have sharing bathroom outside.

It is in the center. It's recommended for disco guys and who enjoy only nightlife.

Our room looked on a wall. It was smelly of a resturant under. At midnight a disco started next to us. Hard to fall asleep. Poor breakfast. We couldn't stop with the car in front of the hotel pack out.

Location, cost, fair value for the money.

Steep stairs, night club noise on the 3rd floor. Not for people with heavy luggage, or are unsteady on their feet.

Very central location

Tiny room, tiny shared shower and toilets. Smelly carpet on the entrance stairs. Not good value for money

It is nice hotel with sufficient services, clear rooms, good price. It is pleasant, that breakfast was included in price of room.

Nothing. The hotel was disgusting with dirty spoons, insects on the wall, etc. I hardly wanted to sleep there, but had no choice.
