a bit away from the city but with the kind of price of the rooms I think it is OK

Staff was great. Night porters both nights were very helpfull (special thanks to Mark for all the help in getting boarding pass printed). Reception, bar and housekeeping staff were nice as well. Hotel is indeed a good bit away from city center but we were expecting that and found the tram trip to be very doable. A big thank you to all the Dutch people for putting up with the mess all of us made of your city during the days of the final.

They charge extra city taxes, which is totoally unkonwn to the guests before arriving. The toll is around 10% of your total payment.

Honestly speaking, nothing. At the beginning we were thinking that for 3* hotel it's good price. However, the hotel is far from being 3*. It's barely 1* hotel and that's not only my opinion.

No facility in rooms, no safe, no hairdryer, no table, no tea/coffee, nothing at all. Whatever is in room is so old, and so bad that it's really difficult to believe that you are in 3* hotel. There were insects in bathroom. The bad was old, sheets were dirty and with holes. This is the worst hotel I have ever bin, and I was in 1* hotels also.

Staff - friendly young people. Beakfasts where on high quality, a wide selection, tasty (only weakness was coffee :-), but this is a small detail). Also the restaurant offer (dinner) was OK (a good quality for a good price).

Location is not close from downtown, 20 minutes by tram + 10 minutes walk.

It's quite ease to get to the city center from the hotel, but it takes approximately half an hour (by tram). They have their own parking. Good breakfasts (as almost everywhere). The staff was very friendly. Good choice for those who is looking for budget-friendly hotel.

There is no cafe/restaurants near the hotel. The furniture is very old-fashioned.

Cleanliness and space for a 3 star hotel. The location although far out from the centre is fine if you look into how to get about and there is always someone able to help you.

The staff was excellent, the rooms are clean.

Everithing was good.

Even tough the Remco hotel is located far from the centre of Amsterdam, you can easely reach Dam place or Central Station by tram N. 17, whom stop is just ten minute walking distant from the hotel. The night bus N. 353, runs mostly the same way of the tram after midnight. With bus N. 69 you can easely reach the hotel from Schipol airport too. The staff is friendly, wifi is free without password and the rooms are clean and silent.

The beds were not much confortable. I found that the cost of a bottle of water (2.5 €) was too much expensive compared with the snacks they sold in the hotel, which, instead, had a very reasonable price. I don't suggest to choose this hotel if you're girls alone, because you can meet some scary people in this suburbs of Amsterdam, above all in the deep night.

Close to daily-needs amenities. Clean, comfortable and in a respectable neighbourhood. Free parking and the free wifi was great! Breakfast bought separately for Eu10 / pax was excellent with a good spread. Concierge was helful & polite and warm. will visit again for sure!

Two friendly staff members of 7-8 is not to strife for... (one night 'clerk' and one on day desk (of several)

1. Impossible to reach an outside tele- line from room 2. Numerous incoming tele-signals (at one time; 28!!! signals and several 'tries') went un-answered at the 'switchboard' 3. While the 'bath room' was rel newly tiled (nice) the carpet was soiled with some sticky liquid (?) - not alcohol/beer forced me to leave a towel at the bed...witch was not removed by chamber maids during room service for 4 days (!) - which make me believe that they knew that carpet steam cleaning was not in their plans. 4. paint from ceiling-wall start pealing off at two places I doubt that I wouldn recommend it.

Easy to get to and parking right outside the door. The No 17 Tram was only a 5 minute walk to go straight in to the centre of Amsterdam. Clean rooms.

The pigeons on the window ledge above both of our rooms cooing in the early morning and waking all four of us up. The breakfast food was ok but it all felt a bit chaotic and disorganised.

Simply equipped clear rooms suitable for spending your sleeping hours after exploring the city of Amsterdam. You don't need to reach deep into your pocket to find a clean and neat room, which is definitely worth your money. Staff very friendly and helpful, wireless internet available in your room.

Location. It's very far from city center. Dutch is very difficult for me, so it was a hard trial to find the hotel.
