Location Their concept of "air conditioning" is very different from our concept in the USA. In plain words, their A/C does not work as we Americans would expect it. Therefore, it was always too warm in the room and I had to keep the windows open at all times which made it difficcult to sleep because of the street noise which lasts until 2:00 AM every night. So, the hotel is fine, but I would not stay there in the summer time when A/C is needed. |

Two of our suitcases did not arrive with us. The staff was very helpful in finding out when they would arrive and arranging for us to pick them up at the airpport (we were staying one night on our way to Rome) the next day before we flew out. The room was comfortable for the three of us, and it was quiet. The location was excellent for exploring Amsteredam. |

breakfast, comfy bed the cups for tea and coffee and glasses for water were made of very cheap thin plastic, this cheapened the feel of the hotel unnecessarily. |

Hotel was very well situated, right in the heart of the city, but the room was pleasant and quiet. As in most hotels now, only duvets are provided for bedding, and these can be extremely hot. |

The location of the hotel was excellent, just off Dam Square, which was handy for shopping and sightseeing. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel was very peaceful even though it is so central. |

Great central location, yet not in a noisy area. Lovely situation, nestled between small shops, cosy bars and coffee shops. There was something for everybody at breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. |

Central location with good sized room with street outlook. Despite the location just off Dam Square the late night noise wasn't intrusive and seemed calm by 1 am. Friendly staff with continental breakfst served efficiently. Relaxed atmosphere given the relatively small size of the hotel. |

Attractive features of Tulip Inn Dam Square: convenient location, clean, decorated in modern style, spacious room and breakfast hall, incredibly comfortable bed, satisfactory breakfast, friendly and concerned lady staffs and very fast check-out... Negative features of Tulip Inn Dam Square: A bit noisy first floor especially during early morning, restricted check-in and out times -for check-in 2 pm and for check out 11 am- (but at least there is luggage retain room) and no free wireless Internet connection. |
