For a city centre location the room was very spacious, well appointed and very quiet. The location was superb on a small, authentic square with a fabulous cake shop opposite. Easy walk to trams at either end of the street and only 10 mins walk from Central Station. Friendly, helpful staff and a simple but good quality breakfast. This seems to be the norm in Amsterdam and I hate it - butting two single beds together to form a double. It's cheap, lazy and very uncomfortable! It's the only thing that would make me think twice about staying here again. I understand that in some hotels the doorways and halls are just too narrow to fit double beds through but this hotel had no such excuse. |

Its location is so central, that it makes the visit of the city very comfortable and easy, I could not have chosen better. It is on a quiet street, and yet a stone-throw from Dam square and all the busy shopping streets. Breakfast finishing at 10.30am! Would have appreciated a lie in one morning. |

The location is great, just off Dam Square, in front of the Nieue Kerk. Our room had views of the church and the dome of Royal Palace. The staff was nice, they gave us good indication for restaurants when we arrived late on Friday. Beakfast included in the room price. There breakfast options were the basic ones: cheese, ham, sausages, biscuits, boulangerie, juice, some fruit, boiled eggs. Nevertheless, it was more than enough to start the day. |

Located in the centre, perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Comfortable room (220), clean and stylish. The staff was awful in dealing with my credit cards. Double value amount authorised and double charging!!! The case is cleared now after 1 week and many e-mails from my side. The receptionist was rude, while I was trying to sort out the double chargings before I leave! |

The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff was polite and helpful. The bed was also very comfortable and the bathroom was decent and clean. The breakfast was also very good. The TV was located too far from the bed but it didn't bother us since we didn't watch TV at all. |

Our stay was a very nice surprise as we did not have any idea what we really could expect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel is excellent. And breakfast is a real treat! The rooms were attractive and very comfortable. A great pick for a city trip! |
