It is clean and the room is reasonably large. It is really in the city center, but not in the middle of the very busy (and noisy) streets. I think the same standard or better can be found a bit further out from the centre for a bit cheaper. But the 'extra cost' for being in town is justified. There is not much places for storage in the room, and you can hear the neighbours and people passing by in the corridor. As it is Amsterdam, ppl come back to the hotel at any time of the night. However, it did not affect my sleep too much. |

Rooms were a decent size and very comfortable, with nice beds and pillows, and proper desk, and a good shower. Definitely good value for the money, and the location can't be beat. The reception staff was very pleasant and made an effort to be helpful, but could have been a bit better-informed about the city itself. |

Great location and rooms of a good size for Amsterdam. Triple room was just a standard twin with a fold down bed. Beds were clean but room was a little dirty. Hotel is equivilent to a premier inn/holiday inn. |

The location is very good , few steps from central Dam square, near shopping street and all major attractions , about 10-12 min. walk to central train station, quite place and room internet is not in the price of the room , earlier check out ( 11:00) but they have the room to store the luggage near reception |

Clean, well maintained. A wider variety of breakfast food would be appreciated. For example eggs and bacon |

hotel was in excellent location and the breakfast offered good variety. Staff very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend hotel Room was dark with one small window. Personal preferance is to have a light room, but given you are out sight seeing, it may not be a problem |

The staff were top rate, the room although not large was well equiped for both a holiday trip and a business trip. Everything was spotless and nice white towels etc. The breakfast was OK for a few days - ie we prefer an English breakfast - however there was lots and lots of food and we could have walked 2mins away and had a full breakfast for 8 Euros. The location is 100% being right in the middle of the town for walking to everything. Silly things - they keep the eggs in the kitchen and we missed these until the last day. In our room the wardrobe could only take short clothes and not many - we had to hang my dresses on the mirror. Finally I asked for a room with a view - this gave us a view overlooking the street which was great. For some it could have been a little too much late night sounds - the rooms at the back look onto walls. I made the right selection. |

Great location in City Center, yet on a small quiet & quaint cobblestone street (no cars!) The hotel was clean & freshly decorated; the beds were very comfortable. The hotel also provides a cold buffet continental breakfast that included fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, & danish. Also there is a bakery, cafe, & pub conveniently located on the same street. Several good restaurants are right around the corner for dinner. Many city attractions are within walking distance or a short tram ride away (Dam Square, Anne Frank House, Flower Market, Central Station, and the Red Light District.) Our travel group was family comprised of 5 adults including our 80 yr. old mother. Everyone was happy with the accomodations! |
