Very friendly and helpful staff, somewhere secure to leave my bicycle and a clean room. The restaurant was very busy on the day I was there (I assume this is a good sign), but the wait for my meal was not excessive. And the food was very good. On the day I was there, the elevator was not working. But the receptionist did let me use the staff / services elevator on arrival. The rooms are badly in need of modernising - they are clean and comfortable, but the decor is definitely a bit old. I did not mind the fixed lamps as much as some other reviewers, but a central, main light is definitely as must-have.... Having said that, the room was spacious, clean & I slept very well.

We know the van der Valk hotels for over 40 years and we have stayed at their hotels for as many years. Reasons are; Friendly staff, good restaurant and comfortable rooms. As we are retired now but like to travel we will see more of them in Europe. We did not liked it this time to be so cold and so much snow !!!! But the drinks in the restaurant covered this problem easy.

Good accommodation, breakfast very limited, Restaurant had good choice Hotel was a good choice for a short stay. Breakfast menu was very limited, but Evening meal menu was very good. Overall a good place for a short stay.

Een goede prijs -kwaliteit verhouding. Royale comfortabele kamers met goed restaurant en bar. Het ligt langs de snelweg en een aardig eind van het centrum van Tiel. Dus voor een doorgaande reiziger prima, maar voor een stedentrip minder geschikt.

De kamer ligt in het trappenhuis en was daardoor erg rumoerig. Geen plek om deze kamer te verhuren lijkt me! Lijkt me beter geschikt als opslagruimte of koffiekamer voor het personeel! Vrij gedateerd hotel wat niet meer aan de Van der Valk kwaliteit voldoet. Het moet nodig worden opgefrist! Daarom is prijs/kwaliteitverhouding matig.

De locatie Verf in douche bladert af water in wasbak liep niet weg: nieuwe kamer gekregen, daar was de kraan van de douche defect. Heb dit gemeld, maar na een dag was het nog niet hersteld. Lift doet het ook niet altijd. Dit hotel is dringend toe aan een complete opknapbeurt en/of een vernieuwing. Hotels in de buurt zijn beter en goedkoper (O.A. het Wapen van Balveren).

niet super veel, gerenoveerd resto deel, mooi verzorgd ontbijt. lekker en voldoende. ik ben veel betere kamers gewend van de groep vandervalck. kamers zijn oud. dringend renovatie nodig. men zou veel meer volk hebben. bijv tv kanalen. belgie was zelfs niet beschikbaar.... ongelofelijk. ik moet iedere week in Tiel zijn en zou daar gerust iedere week 1 of 2 nachten kunnen verblijven. maar jammer genoeg ga ik op een ander.

Het is een echt zakenhotel. Voor een nachtje prima te doen. Het is alleen wat verouderd. Moet echt wat aan gedaan worden. We vonden het prettig dat er koffie en thee met een waterkoker klaar stond en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Genoeg keuze. Dat het verouderd was. De meeste hotels gaan bijvoorbeeld al op kaart. Deze waren nog ouderwets met een sleutel! Voor een "luxe" kamer verwacht ik wel wat en dan bedoel ik niet een minibar en een de koffie en thee faciliteiten, maar lekkere bedden (Op zijn minst een tweepersoonsbed ipv twee losse bedden) en een douche die het goed doet.

Efficiente indeling kamergangen, ruime kamer, geen last van verkeersgeluiden, goed ontbijt. Volgens de beschrijving van de ligging van het hotel t.o.v. het adres, waar wij de avond doorbrachten, was het dichterbij dan in werkelijkheid. Ik vermoed dat de afstand hemelsbreed is aangegeven
