Loved how it looked out over the canals. It was close to many attractions and sight seeing. The people working there were very helpful. The room was very clean an well put together. In the morning cab driver Bert was lovely as well to talk to. Do not see this any were else. Stairs were small and steep. But that is like that all over Holalnd. Was not a problem at all |

The room surpassed our expectations in decor and ambiance as well as it's comfort level. Felt very much like a personal sanctuary. I find it difficult while traveling to feel as comfortable as you would at home, but this hotel made me feel at ease. One minor thing that they fixed for us right away was that the jaccuzzi control knob was broken, but when I told them they had the repair guy fix it the very next day while we were out. Very expedient and professional. |

The staff were very helpful. The hotel was in a good location quite central but away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The decour was very dark making the hotel appearance inside dark |

Location is good and no noise. Rooms are very small, good for one person, but amenities in the room are excellent, the comfort is good. Did not like to be in another building of the hotel without reception and security at all. They should place woman traveling alone in the main building. Reception area too small and crowded, difficult to move around. No space for luggage |

The Toren is in a nice location next to a canal, and a relatively quiet area. We did think the cost of the Toren was high for what you get, the rooms are small, the air-conditioning was loud and the Shower leaked all over the bathroom. That being said the bedding was nice and the atmosphere has a Moulin Rouge kind of feel. |

The staff was helpful, the location was in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the city center. The bathrooms were nicely remodeled. The building itself is extremely old, but that goes for most buildings in amsterdam. |

I liked the standard double room with garden view. It was beautiful and comfortable. I did not like the single room I spent two last nights of the trip. The room was very dark and too small. Does not look like a four star hotel room. There was a window but no view. |

The location was great, away from the urban grittiness of the city but close enough to walk to everywhere. Hotel staff were really nice and spoke a number of languages, they even booked us tickets to musuems and dinner reservations. |

The room was expensive, small and dark. The dark decor emphasized the tiny-ness of the room. There were lots of pillows and no place to put them away. There was no view, the windows opened on an airshaft. The bathroom was very clean, the staff were pleasant. |

Perfectly located, city center but out of crowded corners, quiet and well connected, nice and helpful staff. Room was not as clean as desirable at arrival and didn´t improve later on. |

Friendly staff, location of the hotel. At first the room they gave us was very small and when we complained about it they insisted to change our room with a royal suite for the second night. |

The location, service and general feel of the hotel were excellent. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and well equipped. There was very little I didn't like about the hotel although a little more wardrobe space would have been appreciated. |

The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant and bar were very stylish. The rooms were nicely decorated and there were Belgian chocolates in the room upon our arrival. The Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. The hotel is located in a quiet area on a canal and it is very centrally located. I think the room was small for the price, even by European standards. No drawers to place clothing and the closet space was minimal. We must have received the budget room because it was very small and we didn't have much of a view of anything. |

We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing staff. They were extremely congenial and welcoming. The only problem I found was that the cleaning staff did not come at a consistent time. Some times they would come early in the morning but other times they would not get to us until the afternoon and we were taking a rest. |

Ideal location for sightseeing. Information was readily available.Breakfast room was traditional and attractive. There was a comprehensive breakfast menu. Booking details and so bill payment were confused. Some of the staff sometimes too casual. |
