The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful...the setting with small tables and candles in the old room was very nice. The garden view was not much to speak of, although we were told that this was an upgrade when we arrived. |

The staff were probably the most helpful I have come across in 30 years of travelling the world. They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. The decor of the hotel is great and although like all canal side town houses the rooms are small, they were well laid out and of a high quality. I have no hesitation in telling people to stay there. |
