The hotel is wonderful and its location also. A room with windows/balcony facing the Vondelpark makes it absolutely brilliant. Some of the staff could be a bit friendlier. Might be a cultural thing though. |

Very nice staff who recommended lovely restaurants in the area. Very peaceful place to stay. Beautiful park behind the hotel which stretches into the city. In the brochure it said there were bikes for hire but when we asked we were told the nearest place was in the city. Breakfast is very expensive E17.50. |

It's very pretty in a sort of rural setting within a city. It's near restaurants and a great chocolate shop and bakery. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good in a beautiful setting. The room was also a nice room. The mattress was soft which made one roll out of bed a bit. |

The beautiful peaceful patio looking out over the river and onto the Vondelpark was a really pleasant surprise. I spent morning there with a cup of coffee and feeling completely at one with nature - in the centre of amsterdam!!! - Nice one! :) The bar fridge does not stack alcohol, the coffee machine in the room did not work. |

Fantastic view over Vondelpark! A real country house feeling with very nice and cosy dining room and libraray/living room area. I will gladly book this hotel again for a city week-end in Amsterdam. |

Very nice staff, beautiful area which is still reasonably close to the city centre. Single room is tiny! No minibar, no safe, even though these were indicated on the confirmation. |

Very large room for Amsterdam standards with good amenities. To stay here, get off the tram at the valeriusplein stop. Got a 2 star rate for this 4 star hotel. Very good value with the low rate. small bathroom but clean |

Quiet place on park side, near tram connection to centrum. Extra charge for breakfast too much compared to its level. The minibar was missing in the room, but I was not informed about that either compensated. |
