ystävällinen palvelu, pieni, rauhallinen ja kodikas hotelli. Viereinen iso puisto mahdollistaa hyvin lenkkeilyn ja keskustaan on sopiva kävelymatka. Hotellin suosittelemat lähiravintolat osoittautuivat kaikki hyviksi ruokapaikoiksi. aamupalan hinta oli liian korkea erityisesti lapsiperheitä ajatellen. |

Confortable and tastefully furninshed small hotel with very friendly staff and quiet location. We found this the perfect stay while visiting a busy city and the location was within a short walk of the tram, restaurants and Vondelpark. Very enjoyable stay. |

At the edge of a beautiful public park, a fine combination of yesteryear and present times. Main tram line 2 just a few hundred yards away allows for separate trips to the highlights of your choice. With your residence within easy reach in a pleasant and quiet area. |

I loved the location close to the park and if you are feeling fit you can walk from the park into the city if not you can get the tram which is also close by. We hired bikes which was lovely to see around the city. Our room was the little attic room which was very cute. The best thing was the jacuzzi bath after a long day sightseeing. Value for money is excellant. With a new carpet and some new wallpaper the room would be wonderful. |

The staff was very helpful with our local travel arrangements. They were pleasant to talk to and eager to make us comfortable. The standard room that we booked was not available, so we were upgraded to a better room at no additional charge. The in-room internet usage was not free. |

the staff at the reception is terrific, couldn't be better; the interior of the hotel is very comfortable and appealing to the eye; the location is perfect for those who prefer a calm and respectable neighbourhood and love walking in a park a very decent breakfast, but i knew it before going there thanks to the previous reviews |

location near Vondelpark is wonderful if you have the time to cycle or walk there.Also convenient to restaurants.very quiet peaceful area,quality bedding and sizeable room parking at EUR 23 a day is expensive but not abnormal for Amsterdam.The EUR 6 park and ride at Olympic stadium only 15 minutes walk.Other incidentals like buffet breakfast,internet a bit pricey,but you can avoid using them |

The men at the front desk were outstanding. The neighborhood is quiet and remote, if you like that sort of thing. This is not a 4 star hotel and maybe not a 3 star. Our bedding and rug were matted and stained, the wall paper was missing in huge chunks, the stuffing was coming out of our divan. We had to check out with no refund, because it was refused even though the hotel misrepresented its accommodations. They could not provide a 4 Star accommodation, but held us to the contract. Unless you have scooters or bikes, it will take a very long time to get around town from this location. We like a non- touristy setting, but the major destinations were difficult to negotiate on public transportation from this location. |

The staffs working at the front desk are really kind and friendly, very impressive indeed.There is a huge park at the back of the hotel, only 2-3 miniutes walking I stayed in their "small single room", and the room was really small, and part of the ceiling was very closed to my bed (because of the house type) that I could not even sit or even sleep properly on the bed. This made me feel uncomfortable. |

Beautifully decorated. History of hotel was interesting. One of the prettiest view on the terrace i have encountered. I really enjoyed my stay. breakfast was somewhat pricey. |

This hotel is located outside of Amsterdam city centre and in a more residential area but it backs up to Vogel Park. The hotel rents bikes and we rode bikes through the park and to the city centre, Anne Frank House, Rembrandt House and many other locations. I loved the hotel. Clean and well maintained. The staff was excellent and very helpful getting us to the tram and marking routes on our maps. 5 stars! |

Excellent location - a very pleasant part of town away from the centre but still within easy reach of the centre by tram or even walking if you are energetic. The Vondel Park was also pleasant for a morning walk and to look out on during breakfast. Breakfast was good and the facility of a lounge was a definite plus as they are not always available in such hotels. Staff were pleasant and friendly, though one did mess up the parking arrangements; this was, however, sorted out satisfactorily. We were asked to pay for the room in full before we had even seen it. I think this is bad practice. |
