The location was good, near to many trams. I stayed at their sister hotel, hotel inner, and rooms look nothing like pictures on internet. Blinds had been left open all day so when I arrived room was a sauna, was impossible to cool down even with fan on. no double bed, just 2 singles pushed together, no towel in my room, floorboards in hallway made noise every time other guests came home (this was all night) so impossible to sleep well. Walls very thin so could hear other guests in their rooms. |

Breakfast was good. Hotel looks fancy from outside. Rooms are dirty and walls are too thin. There are insects under the bed. |

Since Amsterdam hotels drastically hike up their prices on weekends, book very early! Stayed here b/c it was affordable. Half of the stay was in a pvt. room with a friend and the other half in their dorms. Pvt. room was small but clean, dorm was ok, new towls daily, good location near museum district. comparing other cities, hotel was too pricy for what you get, but that is simply Amsterdam. |

Great location by the museums and a tram station. The staff was very helpful with a few questions we had. The room was a bit small, but we were expecting that. We had a nice little balcony, too. The walls are a little thin, but our neighbors weren't very loud so it wasn't a problem. The buffet breakfast was nice. |

Sleeping in the comfy beds and I thought our little bathroom was very cute indeed - loved the wee bath. Room was too small to spend too much time in, but I knew this would be the case when I booked the room. There was a slight musty smell in the hallways - but not really worth mentioning. |

The location is good and within walking distance to the centre. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The price is reasonable. It's ok if you just need a basic place to sleep. The room had not been cleaned when we arrived. There was an unpleasant odour in the corridor. The breakfast was rather basic and unappetising. I would probably stay somewhere else next time. |

Staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were small, but clean, comfortable and adequate. Location is perfect for walking access to all of Amsterdam. |

free acsees to internet, easy to reach the hotel and close to city center This is only a very old hostel and not a hotel, very expensive in compare to what you are paying and the facilities, not clean especially carpets and bath room, rooms and corridors are smelly, very small and uncomfortable beds, bath room with no light and leaking water from sink to the room, very crowed and noisy especially in the mid night when drinking people were backed, breakfast is so simple,... |

Good quality-price ratio. If you want to stay at the hotel mainly during night and spend time going sightseeing - It`s just what you need. The hotel is situated near Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. Though it was a little noisy on Friday evening, but It was Friday....:) |

Easy to reach but it would be great if the website tell the direction to walk after leaving tram no.5 the hotel is bad smell. Also, only 1 staff at reception is not enough for lots of guests. |

Nice, clean rooms and awesome central location, next to the museums. My room on the 4th floor and there was a constant noise, every few seconds, from the engine of the elevator. |

cheap--safe area, with decent people living there. Also there was access to good stores. It is a fairly dirty place, with bugs and the bathrooms are not clean |

Basic rooms but a basic price - excellent value for money for the location. This place isn't luxurious but for a comfortable bed and friendly service just outside the city centre and right next to the museum district of Amsterdam it's great. |

Staff is very nice. Price wasn't that bad, and I was really happy with the room this time. That the cleaning people don't understand that you don't want them to come in and clean when you're there. Should have a door hanger note saying "no, roomservice today thanks." |

The hotel is situated right own the museumplein and within walking distance of the leidesplein. You can almost see the rijks museum and the van gogh museum from the steps of the hotel and when you walk to the main street you certainly can. |

what was there to like besides the price? no place to lock my stuff up, very narrow bunk bed with no easy access to top bunk and no shelf or hook for whatever one might want to keep nearby. bathroom small, separate. elevator tiny. |
