I won't stay again in it. This hotel has a serious bed bugs problem. I have stayed twice and the first time I got the mite bites I wasn't really sure the bed at the hotel caused the problem. But then I stayed a second time and it was very clear. Therefore I won't never book it again!

Good location (next to the museum and a tram stop). You should trust us all. First I didn't trust the bad comments and decide to give Trianon a shot. bad decision, this thing is horrible even for me, an undemanding backpacker. I thought that the noise issue was a punctual fact: false, it happens all the nights in the chinese restaurant below. I thought the budget suite was a funny pod-room: untrue, it is an artificial tiny part of a divided room. Internet in the lobby? Crap: there's a 486-pc equipped with netscape navigator (remember?) whose connection didn't work most days. The staff? Well, in the reception there was an oriental student who's giving a S... for our complaints and refuses to go out of his way to lend us a hand. The room- service is provided by these long-haired band guys dressed with metallica shirts. I hope never have to stay in a place like this again.

Although rooms are very small (typical in Amsterdam) this hotel represents the best value for money I have found (I have been a regular visitor to Amsterdam for the last 12 years). This is more than compensated for by the excellent staff and location. The breakfast buffet although limited in choice is also very good. Very small rooms. Can be a bit noisy weekend nights (from the Dorms).

Big Room. Free internet downstairs. Excellent location. Quiet area. Dirty. Very grubby sheets and carpet. Hotel staff was ignorant and uninformed. Breakfast was disappointing. Corridors smelled strange.

Good shower, friendly staff, nice restaurant next to hotel, quiet location with easy access to tram and nice shopping area Horrible looking room, dirty, mouldy wall, poor lay-out. The worst room I have ever stayed in during 27 years of extensive travelling. No sound proofing between room I stayed in and next door room, i.e. very noisy.

Excellant location, very nice breakfast (earlier then many offer), room safe. Friendly and informative staff Left waiting at check-in while desk clerk was on phone, had to go back to the desk for tv remote not given at check-in, no smoking policy taken to extreme in that the window was locked with no avalibility of air cirulation in very small (single) room

Please.. 1) Differentiate food for breakfast (yogurt, butter, + one type of muesli needed) 2) Room 306 - fix the hair dryer and the lock of balcony door. Thanx!

La ubicación It's better do not choose this hotel for the breakfeast. When we arrived to the buffet our first morning, there were nothing, and the personal in charge told us this solution: go to the kitchen to take the glasses, spoons, bread....it was so surrealistic!! Besides, cleaning in the rooms is not very good. The bathroom has some spot in the bath and the feeling in general with the bathroom and the room was not very clean.

Rooms are not clean enough, staff (not everyone) quite rude and definitely insufficient. Wifi not working properly. High priced compared to the cheap service offered. I would not recommend this place.

There were digital safes for securing passports/documents/cash. The reception is manned 24hrs, and staff were very freindly. Suited my needs perfectly and at £10 per night was much more than I expected. The bathroom could do with a bit of renovation, the shower curtains were not adequate, and falling from the rail.

Heating was broken when we moved in. The staff was so nice as to bring us an electric heater. But thats where their friendlyness ended. This great location and a lower price makes this place a popular place, but not a very pleasant one. I wouldnt recommend this place - dont let yourself be tempted by a good deal, pay more if you can afford it. The hotel stinks though to be honest you dont smell anything inside your room. But beware the air inside is very moisty, we found mold on the walls beside the windows and on the window curtains either

The room was interesting, better than expected. We had a balcony with an amazing view, which was definitely a great surprise, as was the bathroom (with a bathtub). Pleasantly satisfied with our stay. Towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. were provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. As a whole, an excellent value for money. Its location is not as central as stated in the website, public transportation is needed, but yet again, its rather close to central places and sightseeings to be visited, easily approachable. However, payment can be made only with one card (in case more people are travelling, and want to pay separately with cards).
