Very close to city centre. Bus stop to get to the airport is round the corner.
I liked the beds and the location which were very good !
It was very noisy at night, due to young people partying and coming back very late. Walls are very thin so you hear everything.
The corridors upstairs smell like fatty food, the room is too small, too expensive for what you get (except for the location)
staff, location, friendliness, room
The beds are comfy and bedbug free (despite some of the reviews.) The location is really good. situated about 30 seconds away from a regular tramstop which can get you to liedseplein in 3 minutes and city centre in 15. Good value for money, perfect if you are planning on spending all day out in the city and just need a decent place to sleep.
I liked that the heaters we working in good condition and that they had free wifi
I did not like the state of the bathroom as the paint on the bath was pealing off and when you flushed the toilet you would get sprinkled by it as It did not have a lid. Also, one of the female staff did not have a clue of how to speak or help their clients especially for directions.
The whole facilities are outdated and some seem dirty. Ground floor by the lift smells like drainage. Lift is tiny, only for two people or one person with 2 suitcases. Corridor on the third floor smells a combination of cigarrette and fried food. The toilet is very outdated with the curtain shower dirty and the bath losing the paint.
Friendly staff and quiet location next to concert hall museums and restaurants.
Bed bugs in beds, absolutely disgusting
Clean and comfortable room.
There were no glasses)))
The price, the location
The unfriendly staff
I stayed on the first floor and woke up with over 100 very bad swollen and itching bites all over my face and body. I went to the front desk where one man found this funny the other helped me to get a room on the third floor which did not have bugs. However the bites became very angry and red so I had a very very bad week in Amsterdam. Do not stay here.
Amsterdam..and being as far away from this hotel as possible.
The hotel The fact that the owners were doing sneaky late night renovations and moving giant hunks of cement up and down the hallway and using the elevator to transport it. - CONSTANT hammering (sneaky renovations) -The the Amsterdam Orchestra function building (adjacent) has their glass disposal sight below the building.. 7 hours starting at 6am of crushing glass. The breakfast was boiled eggs and bread... no toaster.. cold bread and boiled eggs. and they charged us 5 euro, id rather use 5 euro to smoke a blunt next time than waste it there.
I love the location so much. Easy to find & save a lot for public transport. I get what I paid for & I appreciated the effort that the staffs had make to ensure I had a good stay. Recommended place to stay when you are on tight budget.
I wish the Wifi can be surf from the room. But still good connection from the lobby.
Rooms are small, but clean. Towels are changed every day. The location is good, so you can quickly reach Museum quarter and the Pijp with its amazing cozy cafés.
The wifi is only accessible in the lobby area, but there is not much place to sit. It is not possible to print anything at the reception, even for extra money.
Great location and price is very good
I was in Amsterdam for work. Other people were up until 4 or 5 am having fun. After buying some earplugs I managed to sleep!
The room was very small, but light and cozy. The staff is friendly and the location is very good: you can just walk to the city centre or have a 5 minutes tram ride. The room had no WiFi but you can catch the signal on the stairs, even on the third floor (tip:)
The bathroom was very old, had a mold and fungus in it. Tiny reception area with WiFi connection, no Internet in the room. In general the hotel is not so bad for a short stay, but it is very overpriced like everything in Amstrerdam.
Super great location. Just drop from the bus at "Museumplein" (Close to Rijksmuseum) and look at Concert hall. From there by walking takes ca. 5 mins. There is underground supermarket located opposite the hotel ! Better do a research about the location before be there because you may confuse with the bus stop !!
Room is quite narrow. There is no Wi-fi in room. All guest need to sit in front life or on the stair to use Wi-fi.
Staff is very friendly and location is perfect.
Loaction! Next to the music hall and 1 minute walk to the three major museums of Amsterdam
Not very clean. Run down. Very drafty therefore cold except close to the heating. Rather hard bed. Way to expensive for what you get, even during the holiday season.
Brochures info was ok.
Staff attitude could be improved with them been more informative about the local transport /bus routes and also improve their friendliness.Staff not always available at desk for information.
The price.. the location... is excellent..
No free parking.. parking near location is expensive. 50€/day
Generally a good hotel! :)
No wifi in the room
Close to bus stop
Staff didn't speak , people sitting on the stairs , lift didn't work
most times you dont want a room on the backside... heren you ask for it... ; )))
