Houseboat under the Mill  

It was my second time when I stayed there. And definitely not the last! Cause it's still the best place I've ever stayed. I feel there like at home. There are all facilities you need! even more than you need) And great hosts who are always ready to help you.

The houseboat was one of the best accommodation I've ever had when travelling. It is a quiet lovely place so that you can feel truly relaxing while travelling to the Central Station or other sightseeing spots is convenient by bus/tram/taxi. So you will not miss out the nightlife in the city. And above all, the staffs and the place itself are the best. Good to stay for a couple with/without one or two other friends.

The walk into Amsterdam is along a lovely canal and through a park, with cafes along the way. If it rains, however, there is a frequent bus service. The owners of the houseboat are very helpful.

Back again at your place after a year felt a little bit like coming home ... my place. Fred & Liesbeth & kids thanks again. For the reception, the hospitality, the usefull info and directions, etc.etc.etc. I know it is all a part of the package & service, but ... doeing something well- done or something well-done with heart and conviction makes a big diference. Liesbeth & Fred were so warm & welcoming, it was such a lovely little houseboat, very comfortable & in a nice quiet location. Extremely relaxed environment.

A few big mosquitos, but not much that could be done about that, given the location.

The fact that it is a real dutch experience. The interaction with a dutch (very friendly) family. Waking up to the view of the canal and nature, and the fact that it is a-self sufficient condo. You can buy you own food and cook in there. I will definetely go there again.

The houseboat is not a hotel in the normal sense: 4 adults will fill it up; you stay in the owners backyard boathouse. By being 3 occupants we had it all to ourselves. It is certainly one of the best places I have ever stayed in, and considering the prices in Amsterdam it is actually a good deal. There isn't very much to say other that I recommend it without any hesitation. Probably worth mentioning, is the fact that it's not in the center of Amsterdam, but there is a bus stop some 200 meters away. And it's a 40 minute walk from the city center!

The organization of all the information given to us about the city. Excelent. All the great treatment we had from Liesbeth and Fred . We felt like we were at home. Just have to say that we recomend to all a stay in this lovelly home. We will be back when we can!

The Houseboat had everything you could wish for, great location, ammenities and friendly hosts.

Habiter un Houseboat bien équipé avec un proprietaire sympa et près d'un moulin ,que demander de plus!

Я уже очень много раз бывал в Амстердаме, но всегда останавливался в гуще жизни - возле Лейдсе плейн. В этот раз решил поэкспериментировать и пожить чуть вдали от центра и в необычных условиях - в доме на воде. очень рад, что поступил правильно и что восторги превзошли все ожидания. Дом очень уютный, удобно и спать и просто там находиться, например мы очень долго завтракали неспешно в зале, глядя на воду и лебедей, которые совсем ручные, грациозно подплывают когда открываешь окно и не брезгуют хлебом, как и разные утки и прочие водоплавающие. Некоторая отдалённость от центра на самом деле условная - мы быстро освоили трамвай и ездили в центр на ту же Лейдсе плейн за 10 минут. На такси из центра поздно ночью приезжали пару раз за 15 евро. Сам район возле дома приятный, рядом магазин и всякие бары. через дорогу бывшая газовая фабрика, которую конвертировали в культурный центр, по выходным там куча народу расслабляется - рыночки, музыканты играют на улице, очень комфортно. Хозяева люди очень милые и дружелюбные, очень стараются чтобы у гостей всё было хорошо и комфортно. Приеду сюда ещё раз!

le fait d'etre sur l'eau, sur un canal. la facilité d'accéder au centre-ville par le bus ou par le tram . commerces à proximité et un bon restaurant "Amsterdam" dans une ancienne usine, à quelques centaines de mètres. Propriétaires de l'House Boat tres sympas.
