La tranquillità, il bar, la semplicità di parcheggio,e che nonostante si trovi fuori Maastricth, con l'auto l'accesso al centro è semplice e su strade senza traffico. Alcuni componenti dello staff con comportamento non proprio gentile, la pulizia della camera appena sufficiente |

Un bel hotel in mezzo al verde (sebbene vicino ad un passaggio a livello). L'hotel è stato ricavato da un vecchio castello, il giardino e la zona ristorante sono molto belle. Purtroppo le stanze sono state costruite su una struttura nuova non particolarmente attraente. In sostanza, è un tipico hotel per convegni aziendali. Le stanze. |

Sicuramente la location molto bella e le parti comuni altrettanto particolari Le camere non sono molto grandi ma comunque garantiscono un buon livello di comfort |

Ease of parking and location provides easy access to Maastricht and the nl/be area. Poor service. For example, the first evening the waiter spilled wine on the table cloth-attempted to blot it up then laid a napkin over it and expect my friend to eat dinner from his make shift repair. I had to insist on a new table cloth or move to another table - we moved. Also on the last evening, the chicken and shrimp soup was the same base and tremendous amounts of salt-terrible and we left. Walls are paper thin. Generally the Staff was not customer service oriented. Rooms not special in any way - a room only. It's ashame it's so poor because it has great potential. Too many issue to mention... |

Great location, beautiful gardens. The food was excellent. Seemed to be a bit short staffed in the afternoon as we had to wait an hour for a sandwich in the bar. |

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is situated in a quiet and peaceful area, so is good for a relaxing weekend. But simultaneously is close enough to Mastricht (by car) to allow you also to enjoy a bit of the city life. The best about this hotel is its location and quality/price relation. The beds were very unconfortable, we stayed only 2 nights and would not recommend a much longer staying... unless you don't mind having back pain during your holidays! Another extremely negative point was the fact that the "cleaning staff" performed a quite unprofessional job: when we arrived to the room on the second night the beds were hardly done!!! What an unpleasant surprise... the question remaining is: was this an exception or is it the rule? |

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, so peacefull, relaxing and in the same time energyzing. Away from the traffic, with its' large garden I think in the summertime it's splendid. For sure I will be back. |

Surprised at the whole concept - very pompous building combined with relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and amazing surroundings. All that 5km from Maastricht, reachable by bus and only 15EUR with taxi. Great price/quality ratio!!! |

It is an excellent retreat venue to get away from the city, very low key, no pressure, easy to get to from the city once you learn the roads. The rooms are very modern and in excellent condition. 1. Noisy! no control over the children running around in the halls etc. 2. Did not get the feel of a kasteel like in Spain, Portugal etc..... |

The big park surrounding the castle, the walking route so you can get to know the history of the castle and it's surroundings. That the housekeeping suggested we 'cleaned the room a bit'. We didn't make it dirty, and actually picked up stuff so it was easier for them to do their job (I've cleaned myself). We left the room so they could do their job undisturbed, I thought it was a rather inappropriate comment. |

Phantastic place to stay when visiting the lovely city of Maastricht or just stay on site and rewind. The grounds are amazing, we had a great time sitting in one of the many garden areas, enjoying the views, friendly staff and great atmosphere all round. A perfect place for our family reunion. We will definately come back there, we all (aged between 17 and 75) loved it. Very pet friendly too! |

For 8 months we were looking forward to stay at Kasteel Vaeshartelt but never we could think that it would be so awesome!!!!!! The bicycles were stunning, the staff so so so friendly, sadly we had to come back to South Africa and has just arrived two hours ago. Hope to see you in the near future again. Dank je wel, dit was echt heel aangenaam. |

The location was absolutely stunning and the hotel excellent. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and we had a lovely time. And the price is extremely reasonable! We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again. No negative points to report - all good! |

The grounds, location and price (€69 double) 9:30 am checkout is far too early, although we were granted a delay to 10:30am; also, no light meals in the evening - it was only the full menu or nothing |

We liked the park with the old trees, etc. The surrounding area is very nice and peaceful. As plus points, I would also like to mention the free parking and the free internet connection. |
