Beautiful grounds, ideal if you bring your dogs, even better if you can get a ground floor room with direct access to outside, like we had. Lovely bar and restaurant. Price of breakfast a little steep at 14 euros. No coffee or tea in room. |

The hotel beds are excellent, breakfast too. The rooms are very small, one can hardly turn around in there. Having two little dogs with us, which the hotel knew upon reservation, we should have had a larger room, especially since we had to pay an extra charge for the dogs! |

Parking, fast check in/check out, excellent surrounding quiet and calming. Nice walk around. Beds was too soft and sink in the middle. My wife had a bad back and could not sleep well. Mattress could be firmer. |

It was a lovely place and a lovely room. My wife enjoyed especially the old building with the beautiful paintings. It was awkward to be asked for tips, (probably to the people in the restaurant) when we paid for the room. |

Location was ideal for a restfull vacation and it was only 5kms from Maastricht which is beautifull |

The whole setting is fantastic: the gardens, the contemporary furniture and paintings, the exquisitely colourful living areas, the ease of access to Maastrich and Limbourg country side, and the biking facilities. The restaurant offered high quality food at very reasonable price. Our stay at Kasteel Vaeshartelt was too short and will certainly return. The room was somewhat small and the "double bed" was with separate beds. Am not sure wheter they offer queen size beds. Also missed the coffee in room. |

The patios and exterior of the hotel was nbeautiful. Great grounds and kid friendly The rooms were clean, but lacked character expected of a castle. They were rather dorm like. |
