Hotel Van der Valk Maastricht  

This is such a wonderful hotel with professional and accomodating staff, the restaurant serves wonderful fresh foods, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are large with both a rain shower and a seperate tub. Loved it!

There isn't one thing I did not like about this hotel. Everything was wonderful.

Excellent hotel

Breakfast was great! And our suite was also very nice....especially the bathroom with jacuzi and steamroom!

The temperature in the hotelroom: no airco. The noise outside: because it was warm we opened the balcony door, but then we heard the lawnmower (grasmaaier) early in the morning (around 8!).

The rooms are of excellent quality, very spacious and very clean.

The air conditioning in the rooms is not very good,wasnt giving out any cool air and the weather was 32* during our stay, maybe a clean around the window frame would prevent the many spiders we encountered. The food of an evening in the bar area is on the expensive side, we ordered a roast beef bagette for 5 euros and ended up with a rib eye steak costing 17 euros!!! Which was not of a good quality and asked for it well done and it came to us rare. Maybe the attitude of the waiter had something to do with it!

Spacious hotel

I booked a deluxe triple room and the one we had was only a double room with a double bed(2 singles put tohether) and a sofa bed. It was only equipped for 2 people and we had to ask for the extra things The room was not 50meters squared as advertised and there was no trouser press or ironing facilities. The kettle was so minute it took 15mins to boil When I went to pay the bill they wanted to charge me 180 euros and the agreed price on the bill was 119-00 which they did honour. I did not have a computer with me and was unable t check on what was in the room etc so was unable to query it. The hotel was full for the Andre Rieu conceret. I am writing a seperate letter to you on this

Room was very well equipped and extremely quiet. Very convenient for the city as long as you have transport, but a little isolated if not. Good value for money.

I left clothes for Laundry in my bed and they did not take it. So my clothes are still dirty.

This was my second visit this year and it confirmed ny previous experience: very friendly/helpful and super-efficient staff. A pleasure to stay in your hotel.

Inexpensive for the quality; recommended.

Our room was in close proximity to the fitness room.

The free internet access was a little confusing with the daily 1 hour limit. The fact that the hour gets used in 15 minute blocks of time was annoying.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Wij kwamen voor een wielerevenement en de fiets mocht mee naar de kamer.

Hotel is relatief duur voor wat het is. Normaliter zitten wij in het goedkopere Novotel en dat hotel prefereer ik vanwege de fijne tuin en het zwembad. Van de Valk ligt tussen drukke wegen en je kan nergens gezellig buiten zitten. De bar is bedompt, ongezellig en vol.

Ruime, schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Prima restaurant en uitstekende ontbijtservice. Goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding
