Van der Valk Hotel A4 Schiphol

la habitacion era amplisima y el buffet del desayuno muy variado

que es un poco antiguo y el suelo es de moqueta y ya se le ve que le han pasado los años

El desayuno era muy completo. Hotel muy limpio y bien mantenido. Buena situación para viajes, cerca de aeropuerto y autopista

No hay mini bar en las habitaciones ni habitaciones para fumadores

Un hotel muy practico y comodo para desplazarse al aeropuerto y del aeropuerto al hotel. Esta a 10 minutos y el hotel ofrece servicio gratuito de autobus. La habitacion supergrande y el lavabo muy completo. El desayuno bueno y abundante.

Para ver la TV hay que pagar.

Muy buenas las habitaciones, amplias y confortables con gran plasma, buen baño, toallas en cantidad abundantes y buen set de baño, lindos ventanales y buena aireación.

Estuve sólo dos noches y no permanecí mucho tiempo en las instalaciones del hotel, pero en general eran generosas con muchos salones y amplios espacios,

La situación del hotel cerca del aerepoerto, que ademas dispone de servicio del bus para llevarte y traerte al mismo. El taxi es caro del aereopuerto al hotel 37€,

La cama era de 90cm, demasiado pequeña.

The staff were very friendly, room very spacious for this price.

The prices in the restaurant are very reasonable, but at times the food appeals more to the eye than to the tongue.

A very well run, friendly, mid-priced hotel. Convenient to Schiphol airport and Amsterdam. Large, comfortable rooms. Buffet Breakfast is something of a zoo - but the food is generous and good.

I like everything in the hotel It is one of the best hotels for international travelers. Good food, comfortable rooms and very very kind staff

would love to see a Spa. Sauna etc.

The rooms are comfortable and give you an opportunity to really enjoy a stay outside your own house

We were offered a room with a bubble bath for a small extra fee, though it appeared that the bubble bath did not work at all. Fortunate we were offered a second room wher the buble bath was fine fine but while swapping the television appeared to have a poor picture on the program my wife was watching, the bed sheets were smelling after a heavy smoker had lived there, the bubble bath gave sheets of fermented left overs after first time using, the flushing of the bath took quite some time. Therefore I would suggest van der Valk to more frequently check on outstandingmaintenance.

The reception staff seemed to really enjoy their contact with their customers. Great sense of harmony between them and the house staff. Ideal for an Amsterdam break with even the free coach timetable printed on the key card.every 40 mins to Schipol.

The room is very spacious

The heating is not working, the room is very cold. The room is located very far from the receptionost, about 500 meters walking up and down the elevator. The toilet is smelly, it has strong urine smell.

The location of the hotel was good for my business in Hoofddorp. Other hotels there have no alternatives for meals.

I asked for the light to be fixed but during my 6 day stay no repair was made.

There was one particular emploee at the reception extremely rude and I think that is totally unacceptable for such a hotel. Also be aware that the free shuttle from the airport stops at 11:40 pm (my flight arrived after so I had to pay 37€ for a taxi) and then (really unlucky) the shuttle back to the airport only starts at 6am (I had to be at the airport at that time so had to pay for a taxi again). So the extra money that I paied for taxi would cover the difference for a hotel closer to the airport without the problems with Shuttle schedule.
