The staff were very friendly, room very spacious for this price. The prices in the restaurant are very reasonable, but at times the food appeals more to the eye than to the tongue. |

the hote is situated only less than 10 minutes from the airport and offers a free shuttle which makes it a good place to stay if you are travelling by plane. not in particular |

A very well run, friendly, mid-priced hotel. Convenient to Schiphol airport and Amsterdam. Large, comfortable rooms. Buffet Breakfast is something of a zoo - but the food is generous and good. |

I like everything in the hotel It is one of the best hotels for international travelers. Good food, comfortable rooms and very very kind staff would love to see a Spa. Sauna etc. |

Room was huge and clean and staff helpful. Good location. Breakfast buffet is perfect (variety, fresh fruit, etc). Rooms could be better soundproof as the hotel is close to the airport. Was a bit surprised to hear aircraft so much. Restaurant staff at lunch could be more friendly. |

The rooms are comfortable and give you an opportunity to really enjoy a stay outside your own house We were offered a room with a bubble bath for a small extra fee, though it appeared that the bubble bath did not work at all. Fortunate we were offered a second room wher the buble bath was fine fine but while swapping the television appeared to have a poor picture on the program my wife was watching, the bed sheets were smelling after a heavy smoker had lived there, the bubble bath gave sheets of fermented left overs after first time using, the flushing of the bath took quite some time. Therefore I would suggest van der Valk to more frequently check on outstandingmaintenance. |

The reception staff seemed to really enjoy their contact with their customers. Great sense of harmony between them and the house staff. Ideal for an Amsterdam break with even the free coach timetable printed on the key card.every 40 mins to Schipol. |

The room is very spacious The heating is not working, the room is very cold. The room is located very far from the receptionost, about 500 meters walking up and down the elevator. The toilet is smelly, it has strong urine smell. |

The location of the hotel was good for my business in Hoofddorp. Other hotels there have no alternatives for meals. I asked for the light to be fixed but during my 6 day stay no repair was made. |

There was one particular emploee at the reception extremely rude and I think that is totally unacceptable for such a hotel. Also be aware that the free shuttle from the airport stops at 11:40 pm (my flight arrived after so I had to pay 37€ for a taxi) and then (really unlucky) the shuttle back to the airport only starts at 6am (I had to be at the airport at that time so had to pay for a taxi again). So the extra money that I paied for taxi would cover the difference for a hotel closer to the airport without the problems with Shuttle schedule. |

The room was nice and the beds were fine. That was all we needed. Your advertising of free shuttle service to and from Schiphol is misleading. Only in the fine print is it stated that the service is available only between 6:00 am and midnight. As it is, I had to pay 20 Euro ($30) to get to the airport on time. This seems an exorbitant amount of money for such a short drive and it certainly is not free as hinted at in your website. |

Staff extremely helpful, good TV in the room, good information for tourists, places to go, maps & an excellent free shuttle bus to the airport There was mould on our shower walls & in the grouting on the tiles in the bathroom.There were hairs in the bath & we both showered only. Our breakfast was good but we had an evening meal which was quite poor quality not in keeping with the standard of the hotel. |

Nothing there is no Porter service the Staff is Arrigant and made mistakes with my account Going from one lift to another to get the the Room with heavy suitcases without a Porter or Trolly, Directions from the Staff to get to the room was terrible The Room was dark & Cold and there was no surprise as advertised on the Internet The Meals where very Expensive & not to International Standard & the Service was terrible starting from the Reception Service to the Restaurant service |

The hotel was nice and clean, the room was large (quad room). The beds were comfortable (a little soft if you have a bad back and will be staying for an extended period of time). The hotel had nice amenities (i.e. pool, restaurant), was located near other restaurants, located next to a gas station, and had immediate access to the autobahn. The weather turned cold, and the heat had not been turned on in the hotel for the season (beginning to mid October in Europe). Therefore, our room was cold and there was nothing we could do, or was done by the hotel about this. The beds were comfortable (a little soft if you have a bad back and will be staying for an extended period of time). The breakfast was a little pricey at 15 euros per person. |

The website classifies this as an airport hotel - however, it is a 15 minute drive from the airport and if you are trying to reach it by car, it is almost impossible to find as online directions do not locate it. |

The room was well presented. TV was a very good size. Balcony was also a welcome surprise. The breakfast buffet clerk that greets you on entry was the only staff member I thought let your hotel down, her attitude was poor and she didn't look like she was enjoying her job, I also watched her leave her post to drink and eat in plain view of customers. |

If you just want to watch TV, you still need to buy a prepaid card. There is no kettle available in the room, but asking for hotwater is not free and is extremely EXPENSIVE. Personal opinion: Ridiculous rate! |
