The location is perfect, very easy to get to, and there are a number of restaurants around, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and we were grateful they spoke very good english, as we don't speak any dutch. Breakfast was wonderful, with a very good variety. We have already booked another stay in August.

It would be very useful to have a mini bar or fridge in the room.

This is always a nice an friendly hotel. Location close to airport is very important and they have a shuttle that runs perfectly on time.

Friendly and efficient staff. Good restaurant excellent breakfast (not included in room rate). Very comfortable beds and rooms.Airport shuttle service every 30mins, and recommended as taxis from airport are very expensive and not available from hotel to airport. Would choose this hotel again.

I liked the airport shuttle (free) and and the free 24 hr parking. It made it so we could park our rental car, go into Amsterdam, via airport train, for the day and not have to worry about parking in the city.

Wish there was better directions for driving and a sign on the freeway that we could read. We saw the hotel from the far side of the freeway but were not sure it was the one. So, we missed the turn and had to asked directions.

I stayed here for one night while on transit fromm another part of the Netherlands for a morning flight from Schiphol the following day. Shuttle bus service is really useful that don't know the area, really easy to find at the airport and takes the stress out of getting there in the morning.

Very noisy, woken up from sleeping at 1.15 A.M. Again woken up due to drilling ducting at 7.40a.M. On telling the staff nothing was done on both accasions. On leaving the hotel and telling the staff again they just could not be less bothered. I have stayed at several Van der Valk hotels and will now look for alternative arrangements due to the lack of service shown at Schiphol.

Located near the Amsterdam airport; this location is situated halfway between Amsterdam city and Keukenhof, an ideal location for visiting either / both locations. Keukenhof was about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. To access Amsterdam, we rode the complimentary hotel shuttle bus to the airport, caught the train to Amsterdam Central Station, and saw Amsterdam primarily on foot. It couldn't have been more convenient. The hotel price was low compared to the inner city, however, at the expense of missing the action staying in the city. With young children, we were not disappointed.

The hotel staff was engaged in a photo shoot (for an advertisement, I assume) upon our arrival. We were at a loss for an opportunity to check in for our first night and the staff seemed determined not to assist us or the other guests who were arriving at that time. This was an isolated incident, however. The staff, overall, was kind and helpful otherwise.

The room was very spacious and the beds were large for Europe. There are plenty of food places within walking distance.

The hotel is located at a rest stop and you have to loop around the highway if you want to go the other direction. It will cost you 6-7 minutes drive time. For the price of the room, the hotel should include the breakfast that is served.
