The 4-star Amrâth Grand Hotel Heerlen is situated close to the center of the city and the train station. Enjoy the lovely restaurant and sit out on the terrace.

The renovated Tulip Inn Heerlen City Centre is in an Art deco monument building from 1920, in the center of Heerlen. This 3-star hotel has its own Irish bar with 50 different kinds of whiskey.

Many free parking lots available, buffet dinner at a reasonable price, wellness centre, view from our room, convenient location near highway.
Long queue during check-in and there was only one front-desk staff serving. We had to ask for extra toilet paper. The facial tissues were not refilled even though we were staying another night.
Good comfortable hotel with good breakfast
Easy check-in, large car par, great terrace, restaurant, swimming pool & sauna.
beautiful location and fantastic rooms. breakfast is amazing. couldnt want for more! have stayed here for last 4yrs when we come to watch our daughters compete in drum corps europe at Roda stadium. lovely to return on the evening and have a relaxing drink.
The forniture are quite old
Room service staff did not remove glasses from room.
We reserved the last available room which was a wellness suite, so the room size and facilities were considerably better than normal rooms. We liked: Spacious room good bedding practically no noise from corridor or outside (except that suites are situated in the rear of the hotel where trucks will come to load the trash in the evening!) nice pool area very good breakfast buffet choice and quality lots of parking spaces (free) overall good service at the front and in restaurant
A bit pricey when having to pay additional for third adult and even for baby's cot. Breakfast is good but still a tad pricey if you'd like to have just a continental breakfast. Sports center (incl. pool) quite far from suites (large hotel) Room was a bit smelly when coming in. We opened the doors to the terrace. Bathroom has no doors! A bit difficult if staying with someone "external".
We stayed in a wellness suite which was very modern and spacious with a big comfortable bed and a huge bathroom with shower. Had a good balcony view.
Location is far from any public transport so you need to use a taxi to get to the station or bus stop. The other thing is that breakfast is not included in the room rate and is very expensive. The rooms are not cleaned properly and the beds are just pulled closed with the duvets. Not something I would expect from any hotel especially if you are paying the price for a wellness suite
I was in Room 711, room was nice and up to to-days standards!
- parking - reception - pool - rooms - restaurant - breakfast
Large roo s with bath. Good food.
Room was a bit old deco
The swimming and excercise facility were top of the line.
The location is perfect. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best.
Because the restaurant is so good, it is often overbooked.
top place great food good staff
restricted pool times...
Every thing is good but no service room after 5pm
Resturant was so fanny I ask fork and plate they charge me 7,5 € it's rent first time I her this in my life
Ordered room service and was not expecting much but was very surprised. Came on a table with table cloth, was piping hot and excellent quality with extras we were not expecting, sauces, bread and butter. Beds very comfy. Staff very helpful. Pool lovely. Bathroom huge with jacuzzi in bath!
Dogs aloud in rooms. Corridors smelt very smokey.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
The lack of staff in the restaurant during evening services.
Easy check-in, large car par, hotel right on the exit ramp of the motorway.
I never ate in the hotel but the terrace looked great.
Room spacious, nice bathroom. Air conditioning was a bonus. Breakfast was good with excellent choice.
Ground floor overlooking service area, deliveries arriving early in morning (0730). Room service plates/trays with food left in corridor for more than 24 hours!!
Food is excellent.
Stayed here during a Maastricht trip to see Andre Rieu. Flew into Belgium's Charleroi airport, was a 90 min drive to the hotel but very easy to find. Great location with a supermarket and other shops very close by. The hotel was lovely, family room on the penthouse floor was perfect, Villeroy and Bosch vanity ware, always a tell tale sign! staff excellent, every request facilitated, nothing too much trouble at all, leisure facilities, ideal. Maastricht is a 20 minute drive away so we made several trips there and also visited Maasmechelen shopping outlet in Belgium, also a 20 minute drive away, the hotel is a hidden gem with something for everyone. Highly recommended.
Nothing to not like at all.
Friendly and professional staff, fantastic breakfasts, super comfortably rooms. I recommend this hotel 100%
We really enjoyed our 7-night stay in this Van der Valk hotel at Heerlen; it's an excellent base for exploring this south-east corner of Holland. The 3-land point, meeting of Germany, Belgium and Holland, is just a short drive away, as is the beautiful old city of Monschau in Germany. Another special gem, peculiar to Hotel Heerlen and in such a contrasting style, is the Kasteel TerWorm, also a Van der Valk hotel, in adjoining grounds; there we enjoyed a delicious goat's cheese salad while sitting on the large terrace beside the moat; this hotel's grounds are spacious and we were free to walk around them. We selected to have our breakfasts in Hotel Heerlen - and although they were on the pricey side, they were excellent value for money - Buffet-style, the choices were immense. Another great 'plus' must surely be what we thought to be the best hotel swimming pool we've ever been to!
