Van der Valk Hotel De Biltsche Hoek  

Does the name Van der Valk proud. Made some walks through the forest and enjoyed the services (and sun) on the patio/terrace . Has good style to it. Price was good. Service was very friendly and helpful.

finding my way from my room ( 1 st floor) to the resturant terrace part, via lower level passage was a bit confusing, but no big deal.

Food was excellent although service was quite slow on Saturday evening. The breakfast was very good, although a little pricy at 12.50e per person. The interior is very attractive with nice design ideas, such as big flower arrangements and candles in recption burning all day. It was a comfy adn relaxing hotel and only wish we had had time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

There were no tea and coffee making faciliities in our rooms.

This is a very convenient, comfortable and well-run hotel, but there is nothing to distinguish it from other business hotels, making it a bit 'soulless'.

The deal that we could stay near my sisters house for 50 euros per room. Perfect for us because we spend new year s eve and breakfast next morning at my sisters place. I also think it is extremely nice that we could cancel without no show untill last day. Thank you van der valk.

Close to where my colleague & I were working. Good price on a 3-night deal. Friendly and helpful staff - I would stay again.

Some dinner items were good, others, not so good. For the dinner prices I would expect better. Carpaccio does not have a hill of salad and pine nuts, French onion soup is hot, with a cover of croutons + gruyere, not warm ith a single lonely crouton!. Steaks were excelllent, though. If I come again, I would eat outside.

Ask for silent rooms because the highway is close by.

Efficiency of the staff, cleanliness of the facilities and natural surroundings of the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently placed next to an highway and Utrecht is within easy reach by car and bus. The staff was friendlly, and quickly changed our room to a more quiet one, after we spent our first night facing onto the highway.

The rooms facing the highway are noisy, and must be avoided. The parking place is large, but at evening is flooded by outside customers of the hotel restaurants.

Service was excellent and atmosphere convivial. Looked very nice and inviting. Liked the leisure facilities.

Room was a little cold on arrival and no obvious way to change the heating.

Clean, quiet hotel, good value for money!

I was with a car so I reached it easily. Otherwise might be not so suitable.

The hotel is just outside of Utrecht, easily accessible by the highway. We liked that it was in a quiet location with plenty of free parking. We did not eat in the restaurant, but it must be very popular because it was packed!
